- Infrastructure is well clean and awesome for students who studied
- Hostel and classroom are highclass rather than compared to other colleges in salem
- Faculties are well trained and PhD doctorate holders.
Dislikes
- Hostel food and canteen foods are poor and catering service are too not gud and not satisfied
Remarks :
Sona college is very liberal moreover compared to many other colleges placed in salem and near district. This college allow casual and formal dress code it is very useful and huge advantage for the students who studied in Sona compared to other engineering colleges. In my college there Is no strict and violence against students it is the one of the finest and major reasons for joining in my college. My college have a many sports and extra curricular activities such as games on indoor and outdoor. My college having a certain admision process like government mode of engineering counselling and management quota there is no many criteria to join in my college. Some of the criteria to join in my college is getting high engineering cut off.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The one and only course in engineering Electronic and communication engineering is the only course that offer for working with core and software side is ECE dept. This is the only reason I choose this course and it can improve the electricity,communication, and coding releted works . It helps us to improve all the skills need for all the core and a software companies . ECE students having many vacancies in many various fields . The teaching methods for this course in my college is very very practical so it is very useful to gain more knowledge about this course.
Internships Opportunities :
My college having and providing many internship opportunities inside the campus and they give us a some kind of stipend to the students. The major of the companies like Amazon, Google , Wipro, Infosys, Zoho etc... are the major companies Many projects are avail at colleges and outcomes must be very helpful and larger advantage for the students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Iam studying Electronics and communication engineering.this college management put the tution fee of 125000 for my course.this college having many scholarship and meritorious schemes and single parent andex service man childre. This college offers 50k for sc and at category students is well helpful for those community peoples.
Campus Life :
My college having the most clubs and social aspects like ""sonaria forum "" Sonaria music clubs,and many sports activities held in each and every month inbetween all the departments present in my college.my college is very helpful to improve my life style and social activities. My college conduct many event in all the months the most warm welcomed event is our college cultural namely:- " Sonata" All the classroom having the projector to conduct the classs as practical. Highclass library is available in my campus .
Hostel Facilities :
My campus hostel is not bad than others. More facilities provided in the hostel room such as AC,sink, separate bathroom and free wifi campus hostel is provided for each and every students. Meal quality is not gud .it is just average about food quality and taste due to poor catering service. Registration of hostel is much better and easy with fee of 90k per year. There is many rooms are available in the locality and houses and PG too and the food quality also very gud compared to mess food provide in the hostel.
Faculty :
All the faculty members are well trained and complete PhD and doctorate in their related subjects. They conduct every month a exams like internal and assesment test to improve students studies. All the faculties are very liberal to students so no worry about strict college is as well as very liberal for the students. None of the staffs were disliked by the students. Some exams are difficult and some is too easy . Major of the students are pass in their exams very ekast amount will fail.

my college placements are very good.my college is known for its placements in chennai.it places its student in top companies they also train students on how to crack off campus interview our strudents are placed in microsoft and other companies

From 7th semester students get eligibility to enter into placements.. Capegemini, l&T, infosys, TCS, BOSCH, cognizant etc.. As of now by the latest placements mechanical got a highest package of 12lpa and has 100% placement in school of mechanical and construction

In 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements for engineering. 3032 offers made this year this is huge number of students placed in a year in our college total 512 companies Highest package is 54 LPA and average package is 6 LPA 94.5 percentage of placements .
