I have come to this college by ts eamcet exam conducted by telengana government. I have also written exams like jee mains and advanced but was not placed into a very good college and so I have choose this college to be a better option for me. One can also join through jee score or through management quota. For me as a resident of telengana I didn't face much difficulty but I don't prefer the admission process if you belong to any other state.
I think the curriculum is very much skill based and makes us ready for industrial applications.it is very effective as per my opinion when it comes to the lab classes I have attended in my course. but the thing I personally feel is that the credits rewarded for lab exams is very less if it is increased it will motivate the students to focus more on the real World applications rather that of the theory. We have 2 mid examinations for 40 marks and one semester end examination for 60 marks
As a first year student I don't have much idea about the intership opportunities and the companies coming to offer jobs but I would explore and ask my seniors and get to know about interships and placement opportunities
As far as I know in the 3rd year students apply to intership and around the start of the 4th year student apply to placements as a first year student I have no idea about the companies visited and the number of offers. As per my knowledge it is about 85% of the eligible members and my plans after the degree is also to apply for placements and get placed into a good company
I have paid 105000 per annum with bc-b reservation but the actual fees is 140000 per annum. for general candidates the fees remain same I.e., 140000 and for sc and st candidates college provides free reimbursement on tution fees.
In our college many technical events take place which are actually very effective and we have a annual fest called ortus which is held for a week other than that there are a few more one day events. Library is very good and the students have a good access to the books and a digital library is also available. As per my opinion sports events do take place in our college but are not give much attention to it. So if you are a sports person it wouldn't recommend this college. Other extra curricular activities are given a good attention in the form of clubs.
Hostel of the vardhaman is very spacious and has a good tasty meals. Once you get your admission in the college while you submit your certificates you are asked if you want to join the hostel and all the hostel details are discussed with you if you want to rent a pg you have to stay in shamshabad which is 10 to 15 min away.
The faculty to student ratio is 1:70. The faculty are really friendly and helpful. So far there are no such faculty that I hate because they all helped me grow and were available to be reached out. The course curriculum is updated regularly. Exams are relatively easy and we have 5 theory exams and few lab exams as well with a credit system of 160 credits for the whole 4 years.
3rd year student will be eligible for placements the highest package is 12 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA around 15 to 20 student will be selected in 100 students and my plan is to do jobs in good companys
Campus placement or campus recruiting is a program conducted within universities or other educational institutions to provide jobs to students nearing completion of their studies. In this type of program, the educational institutions partner with corporations who wish to recruit from the student population.
From the end of the 4year the students get placements. But we can participate in internships by good performance by 3rd year as I saw many of my seniors got internships by 3rd year. But students getting placements is a difficult thing now a days,And coming to cmr it's 60% getting placements.
From 2 year ending the students will be eligible for campus placements. Recently CAPGEMINI company has hired more than 150 students in my college with a minimum package of 5LPA. The highest package my college student got is 48 LPA by CSE(AIML) student. And the average package of my college is 5.5LPA. The percentage of students getting placements is 78%. My plans after the degree is go to abroad for higher studies.
From the semister 6 the placements is offered based on their performances in the previous semesters Amazon infosys welsfargo Qualcomm companies have recruiting many of the students based on their skills required for the job
From the 3rd year itself students will become eligible for placements. The amazing thing I like about this college is that they provide placement training weekly once which is very helpful to crack placement. They provide interview questions and explained the topics which are asked in top company interviews. As of my knowledge, the highest package was 36 LPA for an ECE student and she got placed in Amazon but it was off-campus. The companies that visited our college were Cisco, cognizant, tcs, emphasis, capgemini, etc. But I don't have an Idea about core companies. The average package you can get is 6LPA as per last year's placement drive. Almost more than 40% will be placed in software companies but the number may be low for core companies. My plans after my degree are that I want to pursue a master's in core subjects since I belong to a core branch what you have studied in btech is not at all enough to get a job in big core giants.
Every 6 months semester exams will be conducted and they will give some important questions to the students to learn easily and score good marks in the exams.. the college management will not allow any malpractice in the exams
