- I liked the lectures hall very much. All are fully air conditionin.
- Sports facilities are very good and a good level is maintained.
- Mess food is far better than any other iit
Dislikes
- Professor don't gives you much of attention
- Mess food is sometimes not that good at all.
- Water quality is bit poor and a constant issue.
Remarks :
I choose IITk as it was my dream college from always. With less toxicity and a great environment around IITK is completely ne one of the most peacful iit with maximum of opportunities that can be provided
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very relevant and these topics helps alot during the internships and placement season as these are to the point courses. Somewhere an improvement can be introducing more coding courses for non circutial branches.
Internships Opportunities :
There are great internship opportunities at iit kanpur as several national and international companies visit iit kanpur for intern season every year and take up many students from both core and non core fields.
Placement Experience :
The placements of my college are amzing with a stunning average of 15 lak per annum. The maximum package goes upto 4 cr and many students get ppos worth crores. Almost every leading company in india visits IITK for intern and placement season
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid 2 lac 30 thousand per year. Tution fee for 1 year is 2 lac. Other fee make it upto 30k which include labs equipment and othe facilities. For ST fee is completely waived off. Several financial scholorships like inspire and mNC are available.
Campus Life :
Social culture at IITK is great and everyone is very sensitive and caring about each other's feelings. Club members have great bonding and we all enjoy a great time whenever all the club members come together.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are decent. There are not many facilities but yes enough for a normal life. All the basic facilities are privided and sports fayare also available in hostels. Mess food is also great and prices are low.
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio is somewhere around 200 and relation between profs and students are great. Some faculties whom I liked alot are PS raj from MTH department and Sri viswaran from chemical department.

placements perentage is good. from 7th semsester that is the 4rth year students are eligible for on campus placements companies like tcs,paytm,amazon have visited our college. highest package was of 20 lakh per annum and avg was 6 lakh per anum 75% maybe ill study further for a mtech degree or maybe ill just stay with btech one]

Students from 6th semester are eligible for campus selection. Amazon , Cabgimini and Accenture are some of the large recruiters they recruits students with good package. Highest package is 55LPA . Average package is about 450000LPA. Almost 70-75% of students getting placed. My plan after taking degree is to develop a gaming application.

There is a good placement in this college. There are many companies arriving in the campuse for the placement of students. I am student of bachelor of technology ( computer science engineering) so I knew about it only the placement start from 3rd year in this college. The percentage of getting placement is 60% of the total students.
