- The faculties are more supportive and helpful
- The hospital is NABH accredited and have bed capacity of around 700
- The management also supportive as they provide placement in same hospital
Dislikes
- The college have no hostel of their own ,it is managed by some community.
- Distance between the hospital and the college.
- The hospital is too busy,so posting will be difficult but good for getting experienced.
Remarks :
There are total of 80 seats out of which 40 is government allotted seat and 35 is management seat and 5 is NRI seat. The government 40 seats are been provided through the lbs and the management seats are provided through the pncmak site
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is too easy. The specific aspects of curriculum that influence the decision to choose the scores this is provide 8 semester and having an high quality. This curriculum will provide enhancement in every aspect of nursing such as in computer science and in also in specific English . Electronic health record method which is being using computer in the healthcare field is get through the nation informatics subjects provided by the University
Placement Experience :
Student get more information regarding the practical site from the first semester itself there is a practical period of 1 month in the first semester and which is been increased to months from the other semesters . Advance semesters have practical sections in gynecology pediatric health mental health psychiatry etc on the last year the student get placement in the same college
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Medical trust college of nursing is a college under Kerala University of health sciences. The average fees structure is per year 90000 and initially first year have special fees of around 25000 which include some refund amount
Campus Life :
The college is providing less festivals compared to the arts College as it is a nursing college it is being limited to a number the College arts first is celebrated for a 4 days in every year . Sports day for 2 days and other festivals such as freshers day farewell day lamp lighting in ceremony graduation ceremony etc
Hostel Facilities :
There is no same hostel provided for every students the locality is being given with so many pages and the college also provide a hostel which is managed by some community the college is provided with the facilities along with this.
Faculty :
The Exam are controlled by KUHS. There are 8 semester and 6 of them have theoretical examinations. The faculty student ratio is1 :10. The experienced faculty such as professor Jisha Jose M are more caring and lovely to newly students.
