The main reason for choosing the college is the fees structure which is very affordable in comparison of similar other private universities around such as SHARDA, OP JINDAL ,BENETT. NLU is cheaper but not good in law in comparison of galgotias.
As I speak about my course only, we are learning about the courts and all the laws and proceedings and other law relatives many things which we supposed to be learning. So it's very much relevant to the course as we are going to practice law in future.
Internship opportunities are very much available in law course as there are several lawyers in partnership of the college which are our facilities also so you have interection with them and other law firms are also in association with the college.
There is not much placement in our cource as we have to practice on our known in law field. But have a decent 3 lakh avg package if someone got an in campus placement in a corporate setup in any company which is ofcourse depends on the company and the capability of the student. All depends on the student.
My cource is very affordable in galgotias in comparison of other similar universities around. The complete fees of 1 year is 115000 per year. Which is constant for 5 year throughout the cource and no such increment is seen. Although the university provides scholarship on various basis such as your score of class 12th, when I took the admission university gave 30% scholarship to those students which scored over 93% in their class 12th no matter from which background you are from wheather commerce or maths or biology. As far as I know the fees is same for all the categories with no such reservation. The other criteria of scholarship is on the basis of score of CLAT which is an entrance based exam for law Students ,I don't know the exact % of scholarship but surely there is a huge benefit in the basis of scores of CLAT. The third criteria is on the basis of scores of CUET exam which is an entrance based exam of all universities, this also provides a great scholarship.
Campus life is decent but have alot of clubs options to explore with a minimal fees to join. Clubs are very divergent with all of your hobbies in whichever you are interested to participate in. Events are organised on a regular basis , more than any other college in Delhi NCR.
Faculty is very diverse and depends on the course, as of my law cource the faculty is very well experienced and very good with a decent working experience. We have 2 main exams per semester which are mid sem and end sem + assignment twice a semester. 50 marks for mid sem 25 + 25 for assignments and 100 for end term exams.
Many new courses are introduced keeping in view of the technology and the expectations of the interviewers as well as the basic requirements are also fulfilled For instance BBA LLB Honours and etc courses
Pursuing an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree provides a comprehensive understanding of legal principles, practices, and theories. It equips students with critical thinking, research, and analytical skills, preparing them for careers in law, advocacy, judiciary, and governance. A rewarding journey for those passionate about justice and legal excellence.
