- Here the NEAU Meghalaya is loacted in a small town Klietyrshi village, it is a peacefully and nice environment.
- Since different tribes from the north east come together, so i gain a lot of experience through cultural diversity in here.
- I enjoy the best environment it gives, so i feel very calm and peaceful. Its a pleasant place.
Dislikes
- Since the University is just started , they are in their infant stage so, there's a lot to improvement.
- Infrastructure are little been lack behind compare to other University.
- There's a little more room to imrpove their system.
Remarks :
I learn that there are many good and popular Universities and colleges but this Institutions is our Church institutions and I feel like home and welcome so i choose over the others. Before entering this university i try to get admission to Lowry Adventis College, while expecting to be admitted the seat wass full and i came here. Right now the university did not ask for cuet exam, so it was open for all.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BBA course because I believe it will lead to a successful career, particularly in startup business. This program offers extensive knowledge on leadership, organization behaviou, consumer behavior, economic, accounting etc. It helps develop professional skills crucial for managing aspects of business. I suggest incorporating digital teaching and real-world examples to enhance understanding. When you grasp the concepts, exams become easier, and thorough study will forther simplify the process. Overall, the BBA course is designed to equip the students with practical skilss for future success.
Internships Opportunities :
Unfortunately i don't know and internships opportunity for BBA. But the MLT and Bsc nursing has it. I hope there would be an opportunity for the BBA student to have internship opportunities so that they might able to get job opportunity.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The admission fee for the university is Rs 3,000, with and additional Rs 5,000 each for the registration, development and caution fee. The tution fee for the first year isnRs 36,000,bringing the total fees for the first year to Rs 54,000. For the second and third years, the fees are Rs 46,000 each year, making the total course fee for the three-year program Rs 1,46,000. The university offers flexibility in fee payment, allowing students to pay in installments each semester. The first installment of Rs 22,000 is due during registration, and the second installment of Rs 9000 must be paid before the semester exams. Regarding scholarshipa, we apply through the NSP. Since this the first time we applying through NSP, we are unsure about the scholarship amount available for the students from Mizoram. However, BBA students typically receive Rs 20,000 while BNA students from Meghalaya receive Rs 40,000. Overall, we can say NEAU offers a reasonable fees structure for a middle class family.
Campus Life :
Every year we will have cultural day in the month of October. This time different tribes will show their cultural dance, foods etc and concert. The university provide a well manage library. Providing books for all the departments to read. And many more genre are there. Facilities need to be improve, some have smart class also. Annual sports will be there, and tournament for each sports are being held. Student don't run any groups.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is 2 floor building, the ground floor there are 10 cabin from which fit 3 rooms and other are dorm type room. The food is fine and reasonable. The registration process is quick and smooth there's no difficulties.
Faculty :
Our University has over 800 students across 9 departments, with each department having 5-10 staff members (will not be accurate, just an assumption),resulting in a student-to-faculty ratio of about 12:1 to 16:1. The faculty and all the staff, including our HoD and Vice chancellor,and all the administrators I've met, are great,kind, and open to students, making it very nice to approach them. While I'm not familiar with allnthe faculty, I appreciate Miss Clarity from BPT, Sir Karry from Science, and Miss B. Momim from History dept.. In my department, all our assistant professor are great, especially Sir Wiki, whose explanation in acoounts are outstanding. My course spans three years (BBA), with six semester, and each semester includes three internal tests and one end semester exam. Exams are challenging, requiring thorough preparation. While I don't have exact data on back papers, i estimate that 10-25% of the students may need to retake exams.
