Likes
- More importantance and quality Soft skill training and aptitude training also trainers gives their best for students.
- College timming is less compared to other engineering colleges. So, it is usefull for students to increase their productivity.
- Computer Lab facilities is excellent. Has high speed internet latest operating system and separate login id for students. This helps students to learn more apart from book's.
Dislikes
- Evening special classes are held for students who scores less mark this discourages them pushes to inferiority complex. If he/she wants to study they can do by themselves no special classes and special care needed.
- Many formalities for hostel students to get out pass during their holidays or any leave they need to took its very hard to get out pass form staffs.
- There are many staffs who blackmails the students and treating the students like slaves.
Remarks :
I have only applied for this college and i got it. The reason why I fixed this college is because of Less fess as compared to other engineering colleges. I have not tried for another college's because I fixed with this college. Admission process is very simple and has less complexity the full guidance will be provided by the admission team students don't need to worry about that. 150 - 170cutt off is more than enough for every course we can select in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are not such aspects that make me to choose this course I have took this course with blank mind also with some people's suggestions I have not influenced by anything to select this course. In one line I can say that curriculum doesn't prepare you for the real world and further academic pursuits. The quality of the staffs need to be improved and some of the staffs needs to change their teaching method for better results. During the internals assignments are given often so it's little bit harder to prepare the parallel tasks.
Placement Experience :
8th semester students are only eligible to attend the campus interviews based upon the criteria provided by the company. Wipro, Infosys, Zoho, chettinad cement, etc... are visit this college. Highest salary package is 9LPA lowest package is 1lpa and average 3 - 4 LPA. Percentage of the students selected for the placement is 50% in that students got selected by the company are 35%. Only 10% from the whole strength are getting placed with good job and package. My plan aftery graduation is do some specialisation courses try to get placed in top companies with higher salary package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First year I have paid ?75,645(Total fees) Tution fees ?50,000, College admission fees ?500, A.U recognition fees ?2,145, Caution deposit fees ?3,000, Co- Operative fees ?10,000, Development charges ?5,000, Training ?5,000. For other three years ?70,000. Apart from this we have pay exam fees as ?2,400/sem(approx). College provides scholarship for tution fees for the students according to their 12th Cut-off marks. Hostel fees ?65,000(includes mess, accomodation etc..) for first year. Other three year hostel fees is ?60,000.
Campus Life :
Annual day and sports day are the compulsory event that being celebrated on yearly basis and also some small function like diwali celebration, Pongal celebration, food festival, vyuha etc.. are celebrated. Sports and extracurricular activities are very poor.
Faculty :
The relationship between the faculty and students good only for some students who works for the staffs but not for every one. There are some good staffs but because of some their names also spoiled. Difficulty of the exam depends upon the students Difficulty of exams differ from student to student but it's moderate level of difficulty. Fail percentage is 40 -60%.

The frequency and timing of exams are well-planned.

Course Curriculum Overview :
the frequceny of exam levels is 3 hrs.i don't think that improvements in the course and teaching methods.it was very good about academic levels.it was nice conducting seminars in calass and group decciussions

Students attend campus placement from 6th semester and internship opportunities by 6th semester. Top core and non core companies come for placement as PSG is one of the top colleges in Tamilnadu. For mechanical engineering caterpillar, tata , tvs , L and T and many other top companies come for recruitment

Maximum of the students get placed in good companies with good package placement starts in the 3rd year . Students get placed every year with good package. I'm planning to sot for placement after and work in some company after degree

The placements are good and some times compare to IIT these kind of deemed universities are way better than the other collages about the placements max of 85 percent of students are getting placements in here.
