Remarks :

I chose James over others due to it strong academic reputation. As I say again, diverse programs and supportive campus environment jmc stood out with its variety of electives and excellent facilities. I applied to Christ university, SRCC Hansraj and received admission offers from Christ. GMC, holistic education approach and campus life were key factor in my decision. I was rejected by SRCC due to higher competition or not meeting. Cut-off eligibility requires a minimum percentage in class 12th jmc also accepts board exam course with cut-off typically between 90 to 95% but from now on they have started with a new entrance exam called CET, it's been two years since CET has started it. We started in 2022 and the cut-off for BCom honours in jmc was 740. The application process is straightforward involving submission of transcripts and documents with clear guidance and efficient communication through.

Course Curriculum Overview :

the course curriculum at jmc is well structured and offers a solid foundation core subjects. what made me choose BCom honours is the range of elective is that let me focus on what my interest is in and what is great for personalising my studies. The curriculum enclose real world topics are prepare me for actual situation, which are really helpful, it balances theory and practical well, helping me to get ready for both job and further studies, internships and projects give me hand hands on experience as well, exams are spaced out well, but they can be challenging the test. My understanding thoroughly, so we have to be prepared. More practical assessment might make things even better. They also use modern teaching methods and technology technology that makes classes more engaging. They also add more practical projects or industry connections that make the learning even more relevant.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

as a student enrolled in BCom honours program at Jesus, Mary College, my semester fees is total 21875 INR. The breakdown includes a variety of charges such as ?180 for tuition fee 400 for library, reading room fee and hundred each for college magazine and medical fees. More significant amounts include 2750 for electricity and water fees. 5500 for both contribution, maintenance fee and college infrastructure development fee and 1200 each for university, develop development games, fund, and computer fee . fees for undergraduate courses ranges from 21930 to 31020, depending on the program. most BA honours course, including economics, English, and sociology have peace of 21930, while BSc honours mathematics and BCom honours are slightly higher at ?22630. the bachelor of vocational studies programme are the most expensive each costing 31020. for postgraduate studies, MA in Hindi and English is set at ? ?23166.

Campus Life :

the campus life at jmc is quite becoming and lively. You can get involved in various clubs and student groups that cater to different interest from Academy to cultural activities. We have annual fest called montage in February March featuring performances and competitions. We also have a commerce society pest in October called Comaccumen also, you'll find various facilities for sports like basketball and football plus many extra curricular activities. You can join clubs and participate in events to enhance your college experience as well. Student run groups like the debate society and portals keep you updated on events and opportunities, helping you stay connected and involved.

Faculty :

add jmc. The faculty to student ratio is quite balanced, allowing for personalised attention. In most of the classes. Faculty members are quite approachable and always are eager to help students and make them feel comfortable in seeking help. Professors are often seen as the best academic rigor with a genuine interest in student growth. jmc also conducts exams at the end of each semester with midterm assessment and internal evaluation. Exam are generally moderate and difficulty, but can be challenging based on the course. Most students pass with only small percentage failing. The curriculum is largely relevant, though some areas might feel outdated for certain students due to a few restrictions from the university of Delhi.

A good college to pursue the bachelors degree

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible for campus placements from their last year. The companies that visited the college for campus placements were wipro, TresVista, Flipkart, Aon, Moglix,PlanetSpark, Propacity etc. According to some of my seniors in the same course the highest package was something around 21 lakhs and the average package is about 3-5 lakhs. The percentage of students that get placed is 30%. My plans after getting the degree is to get into a college for my masters degree.
