- The teachers are very supportive during exams and mid semester tests, they provide amazing notes with detailed answers, you can easily prepare even one day before if you follow what teachers are telling you even without attending the classes in d uni
- One good thing about the university is that the classes are very flexible, the teachers also adjust classes accordingly to the needs of the students and never force them to attend classes atleast in my department, it's called IETVE or ba-bed depart.
- You can get everything inside the university only, from food to drinks, stationary, personal needs, chemist, electrician and fast food joints and also sweet shops. There is a guest house also where your parents can stay in but you have to book it b4.
Dislikes
- The cleanliness in the hostels, sometimes the food is very bad.
- There is no students email ID provided, can't avail Canva Student App benefits
- Placements aren't good in some departments but very good in others
Remarks :
I only applied to Panjab University Chandigarh and got admission in the same. Before it was APTITUDE TEST ON DEPARTMENT LEVEL BUT NOW IT IS NATIONAL LEVEL EXAM CALLED NCET AND THE ADMISSIONS AND COUNSELLING ARE DONE THROUGH THE SAME.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of babed or itep course is good for UGC NET aspirants and it's very close to delhi university course, the course of babed also has internships in 4 6 and 8 semesters so that the students are prepared for actual teaching in schools
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise fees is 33k and 16k for odd and even semester respectively No other fees for general I have no idea about fees reduction for batch mates no scholarships available for 2023 or older batches, after that in 2024 there maybe some reduction
Campus Life :
INFRASTRUCTURE IS OK I CAN SAY IT'S A 5/10 BUT GOOD ACTUALLY ACCORDING TO THE FEES THAT IS CHARGED FROM STUDENTS. THE UNIVERSITY YOU CAN FIND MANY PEOPLE AROUND WHICH TURN OUT TO BE VERY HELPFUL CONNECTIONS LATER IN LIFE
Hostel Facilities :
HOSTEL US VERY DIFFICULT TO GET IN PANJAB UNIVERSITY IT'S ALL MERIT BASIS AND THE CHARGES ARE LOW ALSO SO THE COMPETITION IS VERY HIGH, THE CHARGES ARE AROUND 1-1.5K PER MONTH FOR GIRLS HOSTEL 1-7 AND SAME FOR BOYS. FOR GJ 8 9 10 THE CHARGES ARE HIGHER
Faculty :
The faculty-to-student ratio is quite favorable, allowing for personalized attention and a close-knit academic environment. The panjab university is really a big University they do alot of functions along with the college under the panjab university this helped other colleges images too in the India the panjab university students are also in the Olympic this year .
