I wanted to go mumbai for bachelors in Mithibai college, but I instead of trying so much I didn't get the course I wanted which is BMS. So then I got selected for CMS, by giving an mcq exam, then an personal interview round.
I have chosen Bachelors of business administration in the fields of finance as my course because studying from a commerce background I wanted to learn business practices in a practical manner and expertise in accounts , so this is the degree I thought most suitable
For 1st years, it's 300000 inclusive of registration fees which is 30000. And for further 2 years it's 280000. Yes, the fees has been increasing every year, before I joined it was 250000. There are scholarships for NRI as well as Indians, on basis of 12th boards.
We have various events and fest throughout the year like Lasya, Euphoria etc. We do have library which is decent and does not have lot range books and the important ones are there. We also have a CMS cup tournament for sports once in a year.
My Hostel is not of the college campus, it's outside the campus and college facilities. My hostel is near the college only and has a very great room with good quality food and to admission process is a little complicated.
Faculty members are really great, only exception of some teachers. I have teachers whom I like very much, Ms Sana mam , Ms Sharmistha mam, she was very sweet and cool teacher. We have 2 unit tests in a semester and then final exams. We have an attendance criteria of 75% to attain the exam, many students fail to reach the attendance limit and won't be able to give exams.
Yes I had an mcq exam related to general Knowledge and current affairs and then after selecting in that we had a personal Interview round with introduction and strengths and weakness questions and all
The students of this college become eligible for campus placement after the sixth semester and the percentage of students getting placed is quite decent. The average package is 2-3 lakhs while it can go up to 5-7 lakhs per annum , based on the course and results
I heard my college is ranked number 1 for placements by times of india other than that there are alot of internship opportunities starting from 3rd semester onwards because internal marks are awarded based on internships
As a first year student I don't know the companies which visited my campus. Students are eligible to sit for placements in the final year. Final year students are eligible. And the eligibility criteria depends on the company which visits the college. The minimum a student should have is an aggregate percentage above 60 and should not have backlogs.
im planning on going back to uae and find some job there cuz the pay in india is less unless u get placed or unless ur very lucky, i visited coca cola, 2% of the students get placed ig im not sure , im planning ok doing honors and MBA
