I wanted to go mumbai for bachelors in Mithibai college, but I instead of trying so much I didn't get the course I wanted which is BMS. So then I got selected for CMS, by giving an mcq exam, then an personal interview round.
I have chosen Bachelors of business administration in the fields of finance as my course because studying from a commerce background I wanted to learn business practices in a practical manner and expertise in accounts , so this is the degree I thought most suitable
For 1st years, it's 300000 inclusive of registration fees which is 30000. And for further 2 years it's 280000. Yes, the fees has been increasing every year, before I joined it was 250000. There are scholarships for NRI as well as Indians, on basis of 12th boards.
We have various events and fest throughout the year like Lasya, Euphoria etc. We do have library which is decent and does not have lot range books and the important ones are there. We also have a CMS cup tournament for sports once in a year.
My Hostel is not of the college campus, it's outside the campus and college facilities. My hostel is near the college only and has a very great room with good quality food and to admission process is a little complicated.
Faculty members are really great, only exception of some teachers. I have teachers whom I like very much, Ms Sana mam , Ms Sharmistha mam, she was very sweet and cool teacher. We have 2 unit tests in a semester and then final exams. We have an attendance criteria of 75% to attain the exam, many students fail to reach the attendance limit and won't be able to give exams.
Yes I had an mcq exam related to general Knowledge and current affairs and then after selecting in that we had a personal Interview round with introduction and strengths and weakness questions and all
I was very bad at computer applications so I had to choose BBA as bcom is very common.. and I found bba was different so I chose BBA because I was interested in management... BCA is the best course in the present times but as AI is coming and taking over BCA it is risky to do BCA and BCOM is common in everyone. BBA makes the managers and managing the business it prepares us well to face the real-world problems. There are a few areas where they can improve such as the placement in the campus and preparing the students for the interview.. the timing and frequency is under your control, if you can manage time then you can do well.
From third semester onwards students get eligible for internship programs offered by the college having good amount of diverse companies, resulting in good placement offers. Highest and average placement as mentioned by the college is ?30Lpa and ?6.92Lpa
I heard my college is ranked number 1 for placements by times of india other than that there are alot of internship opportunities starting from 3rd semester onwards because internal marks are awarded based on internships
As a first year student I don't know the companies which visited my campus. Students are eligible to sit for placements in the final year. Final year students are eligible. And the eligibility criteria depends on the company which visits the college. The minimum a student should have is an aggregate percentage above 60 and should not have backlogs.
im planning on going back to uae and find some job there cuz the pay in india is less unless u get placed or unless ur very lucky, i visited coca cola, 2% of the students get placed ig im not sure , im planning ok doing honors and MBA
The fee structure of the college is also known for the exam rules given by the boat University is also not good and I don't like this quarterly specification other recruitment process of this college the internship process is also very is also very bad of this college
