- Limited Library Hours. The college library has shorter operating hours, which can be inconvenient for students who need more flexible access to study materials and resources.
- The selection of books in the library is somewhat limited, which might make it difficult for students to find all the materials they need for their studies.
- Some students have reported concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene of the campus facilities, which can affect the overall experience.
Remarks :
My decision to pursue my Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) at Digboi College was influenced by my positive experience during higher secondary education here. Having already studied at Digboi College, I was familiar with the environment, teaching quality, and support offered by the faculty. The experience was so amazing that I didn’t feel the need to apply to any other college. I knew that Digboi College would provide the same level of excellence in my undergraduate studies, which made it my top and only choice for graduation.The admission process at Digboi College is straightforward, consisting of both online and offline stages. There are no entrance exams required for admission. However, the college has set cutoff marks based on different streams: Science: A minimum of 60% in higher secondary exams. Commerce: A minimum of 55%. Arts: A minimum of 50%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I rate the course curriculum a nine out of 10.my decision to pursue a B.Com degree was influenced by the program's versatility and the broad range of opportunities it offers.The current exam structure, with two sessionals and one final per semester, works well in promoting continuous learning, though slight adjustments in timing and content alignment could make it even more effective. Overall, with a few improvements, the B.Com curriculum can equip students with the tools they need to thrive in the dynamic business world.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Admission fees for each semester is 4000-5000 rs. Students can avail fee waiver scheme by paying 800 rs for tea plantation purpose along with documents like income certificate and ration card. Tution fees for a course is 4000r rs. Computer lab charges 500rs.

Students from diverse backgrounds come together, contributing to a rich and dynamic campus culture. Extracurricular activities are also a highlight of life at Digboi College. Whether it's participating in sports, cultural programs, or social initiatives, there's something for everyone.One of the most enjoyable aspects of life at Digboi College is the celebration of festivals and annual events. The faculty-student relationship at Digboi College is generally considered positive and supportive. Teachers are approachable and dedicated to helping students succeed academically and personally. Faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable, providing guidance and mentorship both inside and outside the classroom. This supportive environment fosters a sense of respect and trust between students and teachers. Actually all of the faculty members are supportive.The course curriculum at Digboi College appears to be well-structured and effective, given that 98% of students pass their exams.
