I didn't apply to any other college other than this in the admission time because I acheived a scholarship of 15% of the fee by GAT exam The admission process is very self explanatory every student after 12th can apply to ug courses and some of the pg courses are also available in the university
The courses like c programming, python programming etc improves logical abilities in students with this model of teaching the university prepares us for real world applications The frequency of exams are once every 4 months the semester is very small compared to any other colleges
There are so many internships provided by the university which are useful to the students But I didn't apply to any internship coz I have no interest on the internships as I currently gaining knowledge on the languages and improving my logic skills
From 6th semester that is 3rd year , students are eligible for campus placements More than 200 companies visited the university as per my knowledge as I'm a 2nd year student I didn't receive any offers The highest package is 40lpa and the average being 10 to 15 lpa Atleast 98% of the students get placed by campus placements the other 2% of the students do higher studies
The total tuition fee is ?14,93,000, which includes all charges such as development fees, lab fees, and other expenses. On average, students pay ?3.5 lakhs each year. However, there are several scholarship opportunities available. Students who are children of alumni, have siblings studying at the same institution, or have achieved merit through the GAT (GITAM Admission Test) are eligible for these scholarships. These scholarships can significantly reduce the financial burden, making education more affordable for deserving students.
Once every month the university conducts an event like sharad, kalakriti cultural night, shore fest, gem fest, Esperanza, and many more The clubs and SIGs are well known in GITAM like kalakrithi club, gusac, gstudio, github club ,google developers club, meta developers club And many more non technical clubs too
The faculty to student ratio is very small like 10 to 30 students for a faculty. You can always approach faculties whenever you want in the available times Some of the best faculties in the university are Prof.Ravi kumar sir - physics Assoc.prof. Arun vikram sir - mechanical Assistant.Prof. Stephen neil joshua sir - c programming The faculties i didn't like are Assistant prof. Aruna kumari mam - python programming She doesn't provide a proper notes and explain properly Coming to exams the model is very easy like it is only for 30 marks 5 questions with 1 mark each and 5 questions with 5 marks each containing internal choice
Our sem exams will conduct for every 4 months they teach us about programming skills to crack the interview at lighest pakages they mostly provide us college systems and they need to provide wifi system in our hostel in college only they provide us wifi
1.Core Subjects and Electives: The curriculum includes a balanced mix of core subjects and electives that cover fundamental aspects of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Subjects like Data Structures, Algorithms, Database Management Systems, and Operating Systems form the core, while electives allow students to specialize in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Data Analytics. 2.Laboratories and Practical Work: The inclusion of various labs such as Computer Programming Lab, Data Structures Lab, and Software Engineering Lab ensures that students get hands-on experience, which is crucial for understanding real-world applications. 3. Internship Opportunities: REC encourages internships as part of the curriculum, allowing students to gain industry exposure and apply their theoretical knowledge practically. 4.Continuous Assessment: Regular assessments through quizzes, assignments, and presentations can help in better tracking student progress and understanding,
I don't have specific information about the course curriculum at Visakha Institute of Engineering & Technology (VIET). However, I can provide general criteria to evaluate the relevance and comprehensiveness of a course curriculum: . Alignment with industry needs and trends 2. Incorporation of modern technologies and tools 3. Focus on developing practical skills and problem-solving abilities 4. Coverage of emerging areas and interdisciplinary topics
the placements at our college were good. From the 3rd year 2ns sem the faculty have done to job to get the job. More companies are attending the college like Amazon, Wipro, etc and they have all offered 2000+ to our college during the past 2 years of academic services. the highest pack of my college was 44lakhs inr and the average was 5 lakhs inr. the above 85%students got placements. the plan after my degree was to do a master in the abroad
Placements in the college is mostly helpful for cse and electrical students as they get high paid placements compared to other branches . The placements provide opportunities for the students who get high grades and consider them to avail for high packages . Most of the students get eligible for the placements and it depends on their interests . Around 30 to 50% of students get placements as most of the students do not attend the placements based on their interests After getting a degree I plan on myself preparing for government exams .
