I chose SRMIST for its impressive industry connections, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and experienced faculty. The admission process was seamless - with a 60% eligibility criteria in 12th grade and acceptance of JEE and SRMJEEE scores, I aimed for a cutoff rank of 12000. I preferred SRMJEEE, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout. The transparent process made it a breeze to navigate, and I'm excited to start my journey at SRMIST!

I'm thrilled with the internship opportunities at SRMIST! Top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, and TCS offer a range of roles, from software developer to data analyst and research intern. The stipend is a bonus, ranging from ?15,000 to ?30,000 per month. I've had the chance to work on exciting projects, like developing an AI chatbot, creating data visualization tools, and co-authoring research papers. The outcomes are invaluable - I've gained practical skills, made industry connections, and even received job offers! The college's career services team makes the process seamless, ensuring a smooth and successful internship experience.
Placement Experience :
I'm impressed with the placement statistics at SRMIST - an excellent 90% of students secure jobs! We're eligible for placements from the 7th semester onwards, and top recruiters like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, and Wipro regularly visit the campus. The highest package offered is an impressive 12LPA from TCS, with an average package of 4.5LPA. Students are placed in roles like software engineer, data analyst, and consultant. Personally, I'm considering either pursuing higher studies or joining a startup after graduation. SRMIST's strong placement cell ensures that we have access to good opportunities, making our future look bright!

Faculty :
I've had a great experience with the professors at SRMIST - they're mostly approachable and supportive, making learning a breeze. The curriculum is relevant and well-structured, with semester-based exams that keep us on our toes. While I wish there were more practical projects and flexibility, the exams are challenging but manageable with effort. Overall, SRMIST offers a fantastic learning environment that's helping me grow both academically and personally.

Also, share the fees of your batchmates for categories other than yours. Names and amounts of scholarships or financial aid that are available for students. Like merit cum need.

Since the college only had 100 students from its first batch only a few got campus placements.The college provides students who hadn't got campus placement internships which could help them secure a job and for the final years only two months of classes would be there after that SRM is providing them internships to improve their skills and get high paying jobs

For the starting of 3rd year the students are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visiting our company. There so many offers for the students and the average package is 6 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 55 lakhs per annum. 80 percent of students gets placed every year. My plan is to get placed in a reputed company.
