I applied total of three colleges - Integral University Lucknow, BBD Lucknow, third one Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University. But after many investigation I found that SRMU is one of the best among all. I didn't get rejection from any colleges, while I applied myself for this because after asking many friends of all college I found SRMU more good than them.. It's affordable in fee , It is a ragging fee university , BBD and Integrals are only universities of name and fame . • The Process of admission is just to simple. You have to go directly in Admission cell , which is in Just left after entering form main gate of University. If you are passed 12th with 50% with any streams then you are available to take admission in BCA.
I choose this course specially due to its less time taking and due to its affordable fee. Although University did not notice too much about practical preparations of student and on teamwork. I think they should improve their curriculums of the course. Many times they can not complete syllabus before semester exam . So students didn't get time to practice. That's why I think they should take some Monthly tests.
Many companies like TCS , Wipro, Infosys, Tata . Visits university to provide internship and placement jobs. A special club also created named as (technical fusion club) to help students to get internship.
I use to pay for BCA approx 82,000 INR per year. In which it includes:- Tution fee - 53000 Rs Caution Fee - 5000 Rs (Refundable) Registration fee is approx 1000 Rs , Admission fee costs approx 30% of total fee of the course in first installment. Lab , development, library fee cost approx 15000 Rs. Overall it get till 80,000 Rs. For lowers caste like SC, St etc it is cheaper than General. Approx 76,000 Rs it costs. Many students use to pay only 75 to 76,000 per year. University use to provide discount and Scholarship Opportunities. And it is based upon the merit of the students in class 12th, or personal University entrance test.
Srmu is very fast to held festival function in university. Many fest like .... fresher's party, independence day, sports day, farewell party, etc are time to time organized by faculty in university. Library is very wide and large. There you will found everything very genuinely. You have no need to buy books at all. Most of classes having smart bords with project to give you feel like practically. Many social group are use to run by seniors like Mysterious Hunt , #SRMU ETC.
Hostel facility is depend upon your fee. The provide three types of room....1st one is single sharing which costs approx 85000 Rs . Second one is double sharing which costs approx 75000 Rs. Third one is triple Sharing which costs approx 67000 Rs. Meal quality can be different time to time. Many times you can find unhygienic type food which you can't eat properly. You can easily Register yourself for hostel during admission process. And After that you can Also enter in hostel. But minimum duration for the hostel is 1 year. If you want to take a room on rent you can visit to Matiyari. Which is on 6 to 8 km away from University. You will found approx 5 to 6 thousand per month rental rooms
Faculty to student ratio is so good . You can see approx 1 :25 or 1:28 ratio . One thing is good about srmu that Faculty of there is so active and strict to students. They take action instantly if student faces any problem . I like the teaching faculty most, because they are very friendly to the student and also check their outcomes time to time. Medical faculty and transport faculty both are very unusual and indiscipline. You cannot get any treatment many times if you are ill during University time and in the transport faculty you will see many problems related to buses. There are two main exams held semester wise. First one held in December and second one use to be in May. Although semester exams are not too tough . butTheory carry moderate level and the practical exams carry difficult level , and it is good to check students problem solving ideas.
The placement scenario at colleges can vary widely based on several factors, including the institution's reputation, industry connections, and the specific program of study. Here’s a general overview of how placements might work and considerations for employability or plans after completing a course: ### Campus Placements 1. **Placement Cell**: Many colleges have a dedicated placement cell that coordinates recruitment drives, workshops, and networking events with potential employers. 2. **Recruiting Companies**: The range of companies that visit for campus placements can significantly impact students' opportunities. Well-known firms often attract more applicants. 3. **Job Profiles**: The types of roles offered can vary by discipline. For instance, engineering graduates may have different opportunities compared to those in humanities or business. 4. **Average Packages**: Colleges often report average salary packages to showcase their placement success. This can be a key factor for
Pursuing BCA is a great think like anyone can get a high paid job and coding is just a wow think. It gives you enthusiasm to make more and more progress for you career. However skills are more important than degree for this course but degree also matters.
Although I've not completed my graduation yet.But after interaction with seniors I found that there is a really good placement. But it also depends upon your skills and hard work. If you are capable you can get placement in last semester Companies like TCS, Tata, Wipro visit there always. And make large no. Of offerers. Highest package of there is (30 Lakh INR) and the Average package is about 2.5 Lakhs Approx 85% of students got placement. Although it can depend on their performance. I will try to take campus placement after completing my degree.
