Review about Manipal MAHE for Master of Engineering in VLSI DESIGN

- Infrastructure for Playing, Co-Curricular Activities, Extra Curricular Activities and Ability to go abroad for Internships and Job through IAESTE. The Manipal is nodal centre in india for Foreign Internships in B.Tech Itself and open for M.Tech too.

- All things are good , except sometimes it may seem over strictness in terms of Discipline
Remarks :
So I also applied in NIT Warangal NIT surathkal but the only thing that separated Manipal from other institutes is that the ease of taking admission and the return of investment, so a person might be giving x amount of efforts in studying for gate and then converting that effort into a particular rank but in Manipal one can put that effort into the actual course and get the benefits in terms of internship and jobs so this particularly made me impressed with Manipal and also the amount of infrastructure and availability of things are much more in Manipal campus and over all.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The core structure at any level beat for BTech or any other courses for my experience everything is up to the industrial level or at least the most industrial level a college can achieve in India so if you really compare the core structure with other top level schedules it is at bar and sometimes even more than that
Internships Opportunities :
So the internship opportunities are plenty both for BTech and for MTech and if I talk about particularly in mtech because I was part of a masters course in engineering so all the companies will come in 2nd semester of the course work and the companies will look at the eligibility criteria of the students that includes whatever percentage they got in b.tech and their mtech first semester and next based on the test on the interviews and placement test ,if the student is successful in all of these then they can get an internship that last for almost 8 to 12 months. particularly if i say about the number of companies coming inside the campus it's a lot and students will get ample opportunities if you he/she is eligible in terms of marks got in B.Tech and MTech, which is usually around 7 to 7.5 GPA
Placement Experience :
So if a particular student is above the minimum eligibility criteria that is of 7 or 7.5 CGPA and in his or her course then I seen particularly in masters of engineering courses the campus placement team will give its best to reveal in the companies so that the student will get sample opportunities who convert the opportunity into a successful one. All the product based companies and service base companies will visit the campus and its up to the students to convert the opportunity into a successful one since the campus will bring all companies and if a particular student is above eligibility criteria then its solely up to the student's performance.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is 231000 but there is 20% scholarship for Master of Engineering Courses at MSIS, Manipal which comes under MAHE, Manipal. The criteria of scholarship is above 7 CGPA in B.Tech and then first semester of Master's Course.
Campus Life :
From libraries to sports facilities its all top not there are all source of groups available and the facilities and technology provisions are almost stop much everywhere or at least you can compare it with the top notch iits. I think if we talk about Manipal Mahe then this campus life is to be honest one of the best in India period and its just almost all other things availability of all the things and particularly the best part is if someone is taking admission at Manipal Mahi the students are almost in all the cases eligible for almost 100% reimbursement of their medical fees in Kasturba hospital Manipal which is thing that is I think nowhere available in India. And the reason I am saying this is because Kasturba hospital is among the top 5 medical College and hospitals in India so to get get amount of medical facility that to at almost 0 cost for the students is amazing.
Hostel Facilities :
So I will be honest here I am say that hostel life is great none the less but its quite costly so if someone is capable of paying a good amount of fees they do will get a good hostel life in return bhatiya the face itself is quite big
Faculty :
So the teachers are pretty great in terms of ability to deliver the lectures and carry out the back and research sometimes then maybe instances where teacher are unfolly a cute but that is the case for the every colleges including IIT and NIT so this is not an exception in those cases never the less you will get all the opportunities one can have for exploring all the areas of academics.
