I have applied for coep and many more colleges but the cutoff went to high and I got government college of engineering aurangabad which is good enough compared to other private colleges. This was all about my experience
The college is an autonomous college and has great faculty and is known for its curriculum and teaching method. The infrastructure is good and we have a great experience through out the year and many tecnical and cultural events are held.
I dont know much about internship but college offer interships or sent student for intenship. Student also apply for internship on there own the internships are held in 8th semester means final year. The are certain events held by companies or faculty for placement and intership interviews.
From 7-8 semester student become eligible for placement and internships. The companies like tcs, etc visit for placement. The no. Offer are much higher then no. Of student who sit for campus placement.
The fees for obc student is 40000 per year and there are several government and private scholarships. Private scholarship such as Siemens, reliance etc. There is no change in fees for four years. The college has 39000 as development fees only and zero tution fees.
The technical fest is known as wings and cultural fest is antarang this two are major event held in college. The technical fest is one of the best fest held in Maharashtra. There are many tech clubs and other clubs in college
The faculty for my department are best they have good teaching experience and are good at there respective subjects. Overall the faculty of all department are good and the relation between student and faculty is good.
The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is fine. The pattern follwed is of sppu 2019 pattern and in first year all the subjects are same for all the students then in second year all the students get into there specific branches. i jus dont like a thing lik eif i am computer student so why should i do thing which is for mechnical studnets that a thing i hate about the pattern but we can't halp it in real.
The placement cell of our college is great and very well disciplined. They support each and every student and have great one on one interaction. Various top MNCs companies come for recruitment of students such as Infosys, Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, Conigzant etc. The highest package achieved by our college student is 40LPA . The average package of our college is 3-4LPA . Around 50-60% students get placed above average package.
Mostly from the 3rd year the placement starts Also internships are offered from the second year onwards From first semester of 4th year placement are starts many of the students are placed through the campus placements
The placements here at IIT Bombay are very very good. If a student has really done good or just put some efforts on skill development, he definitely gets placed and in a very good amount. A large number of companies visit for placements like Tata, L&T, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Uber, SONY, Samsung, Mahindra, Reliance, Qualcomm, Bajaj, Jaguar, Loreal, JSW, Hitachi, Mercedes, Havells,P&G, ITC, HUL, ONGC, HP, BYJUS, etc. This year around 1753 offers were made, out of which 1438 were accepted by the students in phase-1. All the information is available on IITB website. The highest package was around INR 4.23 CPA (in quant sector) and an average package of around INR 21.26 LPA. Around 82.1% of students were placed this year. Some students didn't sit for placements because they want to study further in foreign universities, or doing MBA further, or UPSC, etc.
From 6 semester we are eligible to apply for internships then only college placements will start and we have specially programs for placements so there are no lack of placements and there many students who are getting placed so they are at their best
