Remarks :
The admission process at SNS College of Technology was quite smooth. I didn't have to deal with entrance exams or interviews; the key requirement was a cutoff score of 140 or above through TNEA counseling. The application form is conveniently available on the college’s website, with a modest fee and clear deadlines. Reservation benefits are available for SC/ST candidates and first-generation graduates, but I did not utilize these. While the lack of entrance exams simplifies things, it might affect the consistency in student preparedness. Improving the process could involve introducing a standardized test to better gauge applicants and providing clearer, earlier information about application dates.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum at SNS College of Technology is well-structured and relevant, with a good mix of practical and theoretical content that greatly influenced my decision to enroll. It prepares students effectively for real-world scenarios and further academic pursuits by incorporating hands-on projects and case studies. However, the curriculum could be improved by including more content on emerging technologies and industry trends. Additionally, adopting more interactive and experiential learning methods would enhance the overall educational experience. Exams are held every two months, and while they are challenging, they appropriately reflect the coursework and help in assessing our understanding.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for the course is as follows: In the first year, the tuition fee is ?80,000, along with a refundable caution deposit of ?10,000. The registration and admission fees are ?5,000 each, and the development fee is ?15,000. For subsequent years, the tuition fee remains the same at ?80,000, but the development fee reduces to ?10,000 annually. Over the course duration, the total fees sum up to ?3,60,000, excluding the caution deposit. Fees are subject to an annual increase of 5%, as per college management policies. Scholarships are available for eligible students, including a merit-cum-need scholarship, which covers 50% of the tuition fee. First-generation graduates and students belonging to SC/ST categories can avail themselves of additional financial aid based on government provisions. The hostel fee is ?95,000 per year. The quality of meals in the hostel mess varies; while some dishes are decent, the food is often average with limited variety and occasional freshness issues. Registering for the hostel is simple, involving a form and a deposit, with the annual fee set at ?95,000, which is fairly affordable. However, if you choose rented accommodation or a PG, be aware that the locality can have safety concerns, including occasional disturbances. It’s important to select a good PG or rental place to ensure a comfortable and trouble-free living experience.
Faculty :
At SNS College of Technology, the faculty-to-student ratio is favorable, which greatly enhances the learning experience by ensuring personalized attention. The faculty members are well-qualified, with many holding advanced degrees and significant professional experience. They use a mix of teaching methods, including lectures, hands-on labs, and interactive sessions, making the learning process engaging and comprehensive. Interaction with teachers is frequent and encouraged; faculty are approachable and available during office hours for additional help. This open line of communication and the diverse teaching approach contribute to a supportive and effective educational environment.

PROS AND CONS
Placement Experience :
8th semester students are only eligible to attend the campus interviews based upon the criteria provided by the company. Wipro, Infosys, Zoho, chettinad cement, etc... are visit this college. Highest salary package is 9LPA lowest package is 1lpa and average 3 - 4 LPA. Percentage of the students selected for the placement is 50% in that students got selected by the company are 35%. Only 10% from the whole strength are getting placed with good job and package. My plan aftery graduation is do some specialisation courses try to get placed in top companies with higher salary package.
HITECH A DECENT COLLEGE

Nonetheless, in order to reflect the most recent advancements in the discipline, some sections would benefit from more frequent updating. From 7th semester students get eligibility to enter into placements.. Capegemini, l&T, infosys, TCS, BOSCH, cognizant etc.. As of now by the latest placements mechanical got a highest package of 12lpa and has 100% placement in school of mechanical and construction

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester the students are eligible for placement training. The students can also try off campus placements even in their 2 nd year. There are many companies visiting our college.some of them are cognizant, Zoho , Infosys and so on. The average package is 6.5 lakhs per annum and highest package is 33 to 35 lakhs per annum. My plan after degree is to place in a reputed company.

Students attend campus placement from 6th semester and internship opportunities by 6th semester. Top core and non core companies come for placement as PSG is one of the top colleges in Tamilnadu. In 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements for engineering. 3032 offers made this year this is huge number of students placed in a year in our college total 512 companies Highest package is 54 LPA and average package is 6 LPA 94.5 percentage of placements .

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placement from the end of 6th semester. Reputed companies like Walmart, D E Shaw, ZoHo and many other companies provide many offers. Most of the students will get placed in companies. My plan is to pursue higher studies.
