Likes
- Collage infrastructure is very impressive .
- Collage has very highly educated teachers who guides and teaches students so excellently
- Collage provides hostel facility based on distance , which will be beneficial for students who comes from long distance .
Dislikes
- Transport facility is quite bad , one cannot reach college in less time .
- Campus Placements is not available in this college.
- Lack of Teachers in departments , which effects studies a lot.
Remarks :
The addmission process at DHSGSU involved the CUET PG exam which is conducted by NTA . I was cleared this exam with an score of 120 out of 400 marks . The eligibilty for this course is you must appear for this exam . I was comfortaly cleared the cutt-off marks which was set at 90+. Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well suited for those seeking in depth knowledge of trending technolagies , focusing on solving real world problems. This practical and real world approach pushed me to choose this course. The curriculum effectively prepares students for industry challenges and other academic persuits. However there are areas for improvement like hand-on projects , industry collabrations etc . Examinations is held in following phases : mid-1st held after one of semester begins . It is quite easy after 1 or 2 months mid-2nd exam conducted which is projects based , and finally End semester exam conducted which requires in depth knowledge of subjects.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Dr. Harisingh Gaur University situated in sagar, madhya pradesh , india offers a MCA program of 2 year - 4 semesters with a consistent fee structures for all categories students, including sc, st and others . Currently i am in second semester of MCA program. And the annual fee i have paid in first sem is Rs. 16005 but in second sem i have paid Rs. 15505 fee.This amount includes various components Tution fee-1200, lab fee-10000, sports fee-100, students activity fee-100,mediacl fee-125, registration fee-150, IT fee-550, cation fee-500, exam fee-1200. Total cost for entire fee - Rs. 64020+.Unfortunately there is no any scholarship and financial aid facility available to me as i belong to Uttar pradesh (outside state ).
Campus Life :
Collage doesn't provides more technical festivals or events. National -level events are happening which involes independance day , republic day , plantation day , collage establishment day etc . There are two libraries - central and department library where you can find your all course books . NCC,NSS events is happening monthly ,. I have currently joined in two student groups.
Hostel Facilities :
I am living in Tagore hostel which is situated in DHSGSU collage boundry . Hostel have rule that in one room two students live together , they are provided one bed , one table -chair , fan , wifi for all students , water coller for all students , Mesh facility is available which provides delicious foods. Registration details you can find on smarth portal . Hostel process requires time so i have rented room for 6 months at goalganj at Rs 2000 per month.
Faculty :
The faculty at Dr.Harisingh gaur university maintains a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:5 , with 10 teachers for a class size of 50 students. Most of the faculties are GATE qualified with high qualifications . the teaching method is predominantely lecture based. although support outside of class is limited, faculties is mostly approchable during lectures adressing student quries effectively.

In our college campus placement rates is good around 70 to 80 % students get placed during campus placements in college. For seating in placements in college you have to score good marks minimum 7or 7.5 CGPA in college during semester exams. Minimum 4 lakhs package are atleast provided to most students who do good while in college exams. Companies like Amazon, Tata, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Flipkart, Walmart, Paytm and many well recognised companies arrived at our college during placement season for hiring students. Highest package was around 12 lakhs rupees in previous year placement.
