The admission process for Galgotias University is straightforward. Eligibility for most undergraduate courses requires a minimum of 50% in 10+2, with specific criteria for certain programs. The application form is available on the official website, typically around December to April, with an application fee of approximately INR 1,100. Entrance exams like GEEE or GUEE are held annually, usually in June, and are of moderate difficulty. Reservations are provided as per government norms; however, I did not avail of any benefits. A key area for improvement is the transparency and communication regarding exam schedules and cut-offs, which could be more timely and clear. Additionally, reducing the application fee might make it more accessible to a wider range of students.
Galgotias University's curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with a mix of core subjects and practical projects. It prepares students well for real-world applications. However, updates to match industry trends and more hands-on experience could enhance it. Exams are frequent and challenging.
Galgotias University offers good internship opportunities with companies like HCL, Infosys, and TCS. Roles include software development, data analysis, and digital marketing, with stipends ranging from INR 5,000-15,000/month. Students work on real-world projects, such as developing apps or analyzing large datasets, often leading to pre-placement offers based on performance.

Reputed companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant visit the campus, making several offers. Approximately 85% of students get placed, which is quite promising. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue further studies or explore job opportunities in my field to gain more specialized experience before moving to a higher position in the industry.

Only 50% of people get placements here , and only 10-20% actually get good ones! The placements here are tough to get so you should not be dependent on the college to get one! After 5th sem you can apply for internships and in 4th year for placements
placements perentage is good. from 7th semsester that is the 4rth year students are eligible for on campus placements companies like tcs, paytm, amazon have visited our college. highest package was of 20 lakh per annum and avg was 6 lakh per anum 75% maybe ill study further for a mtech degree or maybe ill just stay with btech one]
Students from 6th semester are eligible for campus selection. Amazon , Cabgimini and Accenture are some of the large recruiters they recruits students with good package. Highest package is 55LPA . Average package is about 450000LPA. Almost 70-75% of students getting placed. My plan after taking degree is to develop a gaming application.
When I pursued the course, I was very scared as to how it would happen and what would happen, but our star faculty made everything possible and completely eliminated my fear of B.Tech.And also prepare for the exams so that we do not face any problems in future, always do your best for us
From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. Many mass recruiter company visited they also offer very good package for students. The average package is around 4 lpa and highest pacamega goes around 50lpa.
The courses offered on our campus are computer science and engineering and its specifications, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and civil engineering. the curriculum in these courses is not much industrial-oriented due to the very old syllabus of aktu.
Course curriculum is very good. Having well and structural plan... Like in first semester we have to study python, EDP, C programming,. They have to improve in their practical file section that they give very large home work to write file .
My aspect is to become a software developer , Areas for improvements i think teacher's should stop pressuring , and demovtivating children rather than they should support and encourage them , As it's Btech it have to be difficult .. from my view maths is toughest for me , rest are also difficult and lenghty subjects .
