Remarks :
DIPSAR/DPSRU UG Admission is totally merit based ?Candidates who have appeared for 10+2 examinations in PCMB/PCB/PCM with 55% aggregate marks from the recognized Board are eligible for courses conducted by the University. ?Applications will only be accepted online & the required payment for every candidate to pay for the application form is about 1000/- There will be a common form for D.Pharm, B.Pharm, B.Pharm (Lateral), BPT, Bachelors in Sports Science & BBA in Healthcare. ?Candidates are shortlisted for admission based on their performance in Xth and XIIth Then, merit list displayed on the official website of college, https://dpsru.edu.in & Go to Admission Section. ? Then on-campus counselling for physical documents verification conducted for the selected candidates until the seats were occupied which is hectic thing for the most. Atlast, Every candidate required to pay required fees for confirming seats. Reservation Benefits is also available for SC/ST/OBC'S given in prospectus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The B.pharma course duration is 4 years and divided into 8 semesters. Over four years, students must complete 160 credits of courses covering topics like inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, Industrial pharmacy, Jurisprudence, pharmaceutics and so on. Being a medical student Persuing B.Pharma can be influenced by several aspects comprising practical experience,career opportunities, co-curriculum activities. There is total 3 Exams conducted at University level including 2 sessional (30 marks) and 1 semester exam (80 marks) in each semester for both theory and practical respectively. There are morning (11am) and afternoon (2pm) shifts for exam which is troublesome for some students coming from long distance and due to unavailability of resources. The thing required to change is encourage more student-centered learning and provide uniform period to the students for the preparation of exams for better career upliftment.
Placement Experience :
During the last year, the students become eligible for campus placements. In the last five years, more than 300 students have been placed in several reputed organizations like ZS Associates, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Parexel, Fortis Healthworld, Abbott Healthcare and so on. Highest package offered by the company is around 4 lac and the average package is around 2-3.4 lac after B. Pharma.Salary in this field depends upon how you carve out your own path as pharmacy in India has least exposure to industry orientation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As per the college Prospectus, For General & OBC the overall fees for the B. Pharma is around 3.6 lakhs. Out of which 90k have to be paid annually by each student before the commencement of next year. 56k to be paid at the beginning of odd sem & rest 34k for even sem & likewise this have to be pay for the subsequent years. Odd Semester Tution Fees : 30k Security Fees : 5k Student Welfare : 10k Facilities & Services : 5k Examination fees : 4k Financial assistance to EWS : 2k Even Semester Tution Fees : 30k Examination fees : 4k Students belonging to the SC/ST shall be exempted from payment of tution fee so they have to be pay 30k annually by each student before the commencement of next year. Scholarship No Tution Fee shall be charged from Son or Daughter of employees of Training & Technical Education Govt. Of India Merit Scholarship awarded to SC/ST/OBC's valued at Rs 25200 Brother/Sister Concession: More than 2 Siblings are benefited by this scheme younger have to pay half.
Campus Life :
There are various extracurricular activities in which DIPSAR students can take part including various clubs and organizations catering to their diverse interests, such as cultural groups, societies including malang (dance), Fitoor (dramatic), verve (literature ), Paridrishya (photography), Akriti (art), Raag (music) and also Rotaract club for better upliftment and exposure. The college also organizing sports meet annually for encouraging sports enthusiasm. Best thing in campus is Annual Convocation which generally held in end of December is just a great honour especially in the gracious presence of Delhi's Lieutenant Governor. And for every student to celebrate not only their achievements but also the bright future that awaits and The overall academic topper is rewarded with LG trophy for excellence.
