- Multiple clubs in the college which has no restrictions.
- A lot of events including dance,music, technical , sports tournament.
- Teachers are very friendly and supportive of what you do, they are very inclined to students ideas of buisness and startups
Dislikes
- Very strict christ policies which will not be changed under any circumstances.
- Attendance policy of 75 is a compulsory throughout the years of education and the fine is very high
- Food is very okay I side the canteen have to go it for good food
Remarks :
The registration opens as soon as December depending on the academic year and you can find the registration details on the christ University website, the course structure is also mentioned there with the syllabus to refer, the exams start at December and keep happening until the registration closes for every month
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course has extra subjects from year 1 that helped us with the placement, like placement training, ar vr which was a subject inclined to game designing and a software which boosted our criteria in the placement
Internships Opportunities :
From 3rd sem companies start coming to the college for internship opportunities, you will have to pay for the internship and u need a minimum eligibility of 75% in academics. I've not yet gotten interships from the college so I'm not sure abt it
Placement Experience :
From 7th semester students are eligible for placements, cognizant, unity, visited the college for placement. 40% of the students gets placed, and I'm planning to do game design abroad after my course ends
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The base price for the course is 2,05,000, and it is the same for every year until i graduate and it does not increase, I've not applied for any scholarship. Registration is through Christ's own entrance exam and it is 1300 for btech, there are no book fees a d the only compulsory charges throughout the course is the money used to buy notebooks and printout for ur record and manuals for lab.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the campus is really good, every club in the campus is run by students while we have a faculty head, the students are the contributors of the clubs and events keeps happening every month straight by diff clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is very clean and well maintained, it has strict rules of no lights on after 10.30, no food allowed inside, no kettles or iron boxes allowed. The hostel wardens are very annoying and the leave applying process is a headache. There's is a curfew of 9:30 to enter hostel and a biometric system of face I'd has to be entered in the .orning and night or else you will be fined for it
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is not that bad, all the classes and the students are assigned a specific staff mentor who will help you through the course I'm whtever needs you have . The faculty is very professional and approachable .

You should maintain around 8 cogs and above so that you can have a guaranteed placement and students are eligible after 3rd year to get placements and placement rates are pretty good with the avg being 7lpa

•From 5th and 6th sems students are eligible for campus placement. • 84% students placed in UVCE, highest placements rate is in EEE. •The placement rate is 4% more compared to last year. •The UVCE authorities said the highest package offered is Rs 26.5 lakh per annum. A student, Subramanya, has received an offer from an America-based Cloud Security company. •In the 2023 batch, the highest package offered was Rs 53 lakh per annum. •Of the eligible 436 students, 354 students have got the offers.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I'm greatly interested in civil engineering and that's why I joined the course. The curriculum greatly interested me because it's easy to understand and not too stressing. We have no of situations where they teach you to be ready for the real world. I dont think it neesds any improvement because I feel it's enough. Timing of exams can actually be changed because honestly I want gaps for my exams in just 4 months span i completed 1 sem that's why.
