- We have very reliable faculty who guide us thoroughly for college , internship, placement, jobs .
- We have small but very maintained campus as it consists of many departments,clubs , classes, canteen, mess , atm, auditorium, symbiosis museum, hostel ,gym ect.
- We have diverse backgrounds of students which leads for better social connections by making lont of long term relationship and friendships .
Dislikes
- We need bigger campus area for betterment of everyone.
Remarks :
As we can see on official website of symbiosis which is www.symbiosis.edu.in where you get updates over when admission process is gonna start and what all criteria you have to fill in . They usually give 2 weeks for us to fill the admission form and then by that they'll schedule an interview date for us which happens online . And on interview they asked various questions regarding psychology as whole which includes bachelor degree knowledge, practicals and few honours questions if they have taken during their bachlors, and then on basis of interview from almost 250-270 students they select almost 40 students for masters who they think are deserving candidates. Interview is tough so they can really get good students so symbiosis as whole have better position and rank World wide.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Symbiosis college provides diverse courses. As I wanted to learn about psychology more but I also wanted to work with companies so symbiosis offered very structured course as industrial psychology for students like me who wants to work in companies and know psychology of people , organisation behaviour overall, social skills , knowing how individuals works as an individual and even as an organisation. Our faculty for our course makes sure to give us very relevant and realtime examples to make us understand the course we'll. If only they could add proper structured timetable so our classes and internship don't face any problem and we can do that properly . We have mid terms and final term exams before that we have assignments, projects, presentations . Our exams are but tough but everything has been properly thought to us so we don't face much problem.
Internships Opportunities :
We have gotten two internships till now . First one was old age home we went to madhurbhav AJ foundation, where we have interacted with all old age people who may or may not suffering from some illnesses such as alshimer, ect . Which was really good for us to interact with them make them feel heard and playing some kind of games with them . And second internship was in college as an counselor ,where we have talked with few students who are going through some challenges in their lifes and how they want to overcome that and want to come out of that. .we just listened them and make them feel heard and comfortable.
Placement Experience :
After completion of third semester they start campus placement cell and many companies come for placement offers such as Deloitte, TATA, Wipro, Infotech, ICICI Bank, and many more . Highest offer was made as 15 lakhs and average package is 8-10 lakhs . almost 85% of students get their placement in campus as we have really deserving students and most eligible and quality of students.my plans after getting degree is to get through placement and get really good paying job and efficient one where I can put all my learning into it and give my best to it .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes ,Our ADMISSION FEES is 250.00 , EXAMINATION FEE 5500.00, ADMN.CHARGES 9244.00, PRACTICAL /PROJECT CHARGES 5000.00, LABORATORY FEE 19000.00, STUDENT WELFARE & DEV.ACTIVITIES 10900.00 FACILITIES & VALUE ADDED FACILITIES 4100.00 College Fee Total Amount (in Rs.): 53994.00 Society Charges Amount in Rs. HEALTH SERVICES 4606.00, Society Charges Total Amount (in Rs.): 4606.00, College Fee Receipt Grand Total (in Rs) : 58600.00. And fees are different from individual to individual depending on if they come under any category they will be charge less 53994 and if they come under general but they are Maharashtra fees are 69224 , if they are from outside of Maharashtra their fees are 82324 , and international SAARC countries students have to pay 86124 , and other international students have to pay 107124. There scholarship for category students and main part of that is if father's yearly salary should not be more than 800000.
Campus Life :
As we have most diverse students who come across from all countries they all come with their diverse knowledge and with their beliefs and cultures which help us to build different kinds of clubs for all the extra curricular activities such as dance club ,hiphop club , traditional dance club , karate club and many more , we also have traditional day , bollywood day , cultural day where all students irrespective of their courses and classes come for this days together to celebrate.
