- I liked the campus enviornment as it is filled with trees and other astheitics that make our mind very fresh and want to explore the campus
- I liked the extracurricular activities as they can help you explore your passion as for me it was anchoring and here I got the chance to be on a big stage and interact with fun.
- I liked all the teachers as they are very friendly in Nature
Dislikes
- I also didn't like the Blackboards as it was small compare to the size of the class.
- I didn't like to walk so long to reach the building as it was quite away from the hostel buildings
Remarks :
Eligibility for taking the course is 60% marks in pcm in 12th standard. You can check the admission dates and other dates on the Chandigarh University official website (cuchd.in) and you have to take a compulsory scholarship test (cucet) that will ensure you some scholarship which will be with you for your 1st year and after that, it will renew if you get 7.5 cgpa or more.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In the first semester, we studied physics, maths, biology, and other theoretical stuff but after that, we got computer stuff really hardcore as we learned c, c++, python, data structures, DBMS and hacking and stuff and we started getting group projects and mentored projects where te have helped us to make real-life working applications to solve major problems that we face in our day to day life.
Internships Opportunities :
There were different kinds of internships on the campus as I didn't get any as I am in 2nd year and it started for the 3rd year students but I know some friends who got it through the placement cell on the campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am paying 96000 per semester fee which includes admission, registration, examination, and tution fees. The real amount is 120000 without any scholarship but I got 20% through the cucet admission paper which is compulsory to give if you want to join Chandigarh University I got around 48 marks so I got only 20% but some of my batchmates got upto 50% and 60% scholarship, other than cucet there is early bird scholarship which will be given to you if you will take admission in early days of the starting session and there is sports scholarship for national level sports players.
Campus Life :
We have a very happening campus as there are functions every week in the department of arts and monthly DJ nights but the biggest festivals are freshers party and CU fest. And talking about clubs, so there are many clubs which you can join which are domain-specific and other than that of any other department, some departments also have their quarterly magazine and stuff.
Hostel Facilities :
So I paid 138000 an ac room which is 5 seater, you can also get 5 seater non AC at 106000. We got a bed a, study table , a chair and an almirah. There was wifi included and the hostel also had a gym, about the food is that it was average hostel foot but sometimes was good to eat. You can register for the hostel through the chuchd.in website.
Faculty :
I didn't know the exact statistics but we had quite a lot of teachers in campus, and most of them were PhD holders and others were masters in their field, as for interaction most of them had a very friendly nature that helped us to make more concentration in there lectures and there teaching ways were old school but were very effective.

The placement opportunities from the college are good renowned companies like BMW JP Morgan Mechenzi American Express come for placements .Earlier more Big MNCs came but are now shifting towards other colleges due to depleting rank of the college
