Remarks :

NEET exam was the selection process, 2023 cut off for first round went upto 50,000 rank but decreased exponteirally in second and third allotment. Admission process and document procedure is conducted very well and requires you to be in Manipal for it

Course Curriculum Overview :

There is an exam every 3 months and they conduct it very professionally. A table test and CA after every unit, syllabus is completed on time. And the current syllabus is befitting that of a medical student working in the current generation

Internships Opportunities :

30,000 rs stipend/month during internship year while you work in one of the best hospitals of the country - Kasturba hospital. Many students go on to crack USMLE, PLAB, NEET PG showcasing the level of KMC graduates.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yearly 17.5 lakhs for a general seat. You have to pay for 4 1/2 years, along with hostel fees it's about 80 lakhs. Absolutely no hidden charges. NRI fees is 1.6 crore Scholarships are available both 100% and 50% but for around like top 10 students (upto rank 10,000) . Lasts 5 years as long as you maintain 65% in university exams

Campus Life :

It's a wonderful college and provides a great college experience and the greenery and beauty is astounding. Lots of opportunities for extra curricular with multiple student run clubs and committees for every hobby. MARINA (the gymnasium) is packed and filled with many sports fields. Multiple sports team for men and women

Hostel Facilities :

Indira Girls Hostel, cheapest hostel option, Non AC single room. There are better hostels for way more price, with more room. But Indira is also enough and has a good environment and apt space. Very close to class, barely a 10 minute walk Mess is both attached to hostels and one main food court in the campus itself.

Faculty :

Most faculties have ongoing research and publications, they are always open to talking. They are around 10-15 staff per department for a batch of 250. The teachers have always been there to listen and support and are greatly competent at their tasks

Choosing MBBS career depends on the students capability to understand things which are very complicated after giving the 12th and cracking the neetbUG exams student get an access to enter the MBBS field and selecting the course of choice and also a college in which they want to study also bees a prerequisite factor for a student to study in a good college so in terms of the educational qualities every Government College in Karnataka has its own pros and cons and also the distance between the students house and the college also mattress so taking a college very far from the hometown will be also be very boring pass boring has the student might feel that he has left his house in the MBBS curriculum there will be lot of things that are covered under the headings which are provided by the cbme these these include at com sessions and also so my college is very good in terms of it educational qualities and also the package TISS are very supporting here so I prefer Kodagu institute of medical

Course Curriculum Overview :

We have a new curriculum named competency based medical education (CBME) curriculum. It was included new teaching methods like small group discussions and self directed learning, computer based learning, early clinical exposure and seminars etc. The exam difficulty level is high in my perspective.
