Dislikes
- Not equipped with all required equipments
- The university is infrastructure is poor for some departments
- The faculties are not much experienced and teaching is not up to mark.
Remarks :
You need to hold graduation in bsc agriculture to enroll this course. There will be university entrance exam called vgucet and it is easy and also not mandatory to give. You can also join directly by yourself the admission process is very easy.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is well designed by the university professors. And it is very relevant to the industry needs. But in terms of execution the university fails drastically. So it affects the quality of teaching. And the exams will be conducted timely and level of exams are very easy.
Internships Opportunities :
I got a internship in Rajasthan agriculture reasearch institute (RARI) and some others get in local companies. The internship are good . You need to find yourself for a good one. The internship are better for future jobs
Placement Experience :
The college placements are not good . The avg package of placements is 2.5 lpa and highest is also very low like 5 lpa. You need to find jobs outside by walkin interview. Don't expect much about placements. The most jobs are marketing and sales
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have paid 134000 per year for college which may get increased by 10 percent this year.The exams fee is separate you need to pay 3k per semester. There will be a education loan facility provided by the university.
Campus Life :
The extracurricular activities are given more importance in this university. There will be different clubs for every department. And there will be fests conducted oftently and hackathons and there is also a ACIC incubation cntere in the university to support entrepreneurship development. And also anti ragging in the college. The libraries are well equipped with plenty resources and there are 2 libraries in the university.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a hostel for girls and boys inside the university. The affordability of hostel depends upon you like if you choose sharing room it will cost 53000 per semester . For a. Single ac room it cost 90k per semester. The mess food is very bad especially if you are a south indian.
Faculty :
The faculties are phd holders but they don't have much teaching experience. And there are shortage of faculty and same teacher teaches 2 or more subjects. The interaction will be easier and friendly with teachers.
