Cut ofc was about 98 percent in cet. I got 95 percent in cet and my father served for this country as in navy so i got here via defense quota (they don't give any fee concention) admission process was very time consuming they could have done lot faster.
I always wanted to opt for Computer science but i didn't expect to be this different. I had a different perspective of this course since i am in 2 year now things will change lets see where this course take me
As i belongs to open category i don't have any special or specific type of scholarship. And i wish they don't take fee all together may emi is fine because 85000. So may make 3 installments so every man can pay.
Campus there are very strict rule we can't wander around anything I just getting into class and we need to keep silent all the way feels like I am in the school. They have unform which compulsory other guards will not let you in
Due to my language barrier i could interact with the faculty members but they treat okay i guess, They will help you in any case . We have different faculty members of every department and they have assigned different faculty members
The placements here at IIT Bombay are very very good. If a student has really done good or just put some efforts on skill development, he definitely gets placed and in a very good amount. A large number of companies visit for placements like Tata, L&T, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Uber, SONY, Samsung, Mahindra, Reliance, Qualcomm, Bajaj, Jaguar, Loreal, JSW, Hitachi, Mercedes, Havells,P&G, ITC, HUL, ONGC, HP, BYJUS, etc. This year around 1753 offers were made, out of which 1438 were accepted by the students in phase-1. All the information is available on IITB website. The highest package was around INR 4.23 CPA (in quant sector) and an average package of around INR 21.26 LPA. Around 82.1% of students were placed this year. Some students didn't sit for placements because they want to study further in foreign universities, or doing MBA further, or UPSC, etc.
There is not much placements in campus nor the top companies visit ther to get placements most of the students have to apply offline but teachers there support us even after we pass out from the college
