- I love the atmosphere of GEU.Its mostly moderate.Dehradun is surrounded by mountains so the weather is good.
- The CSE specialization course is free. So good for students.
- The faculty is really supportive and always take care of students at personal level by my experience.
Dislikes
- The workload is too much.Students have to do regular homeworks
- The time we get to do side hustle is very less because of workload.
- Hostel's mess was very bad.I myself found cockroach in my food.
Remarks :
By my personal experience,The admission Process was smooth,I got admission by CUET results. College hosts it's exam also it takes cutoff of famous exams like CUET and JEE MAINS.The details of admission are available on Google erp of GEU
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, offering a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The curriculum effectively prepares students for real-world applications by focusing on current technologies and practical problem-solving, which is crucial for both professional careers and further academic pursuits.
Internships Opportunities :
The internships in college is low. So you have to go search outside the campus. But college really supports students who do internships. But you will start getting opportunities to do internships from first year only.
Placement Experience :
Companies come in college like Adobe, Wipro, Amazon, TCS etc.Also mass recruiters also come . But mostly high placed students are off campus only who are above 20Lakh LPA.But over all the placement is pretty decent here in GEU
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Campus Life :
The overall experience was mind-blowing. The college hosts many fests for students most famous one was GRA-FEST. Many famous celebrity came like Neha Kakkar, Badshah,Devine the rapper etc.Also the Holi experience was amazing.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities are retired Army officers.And soo are the guards. But compared to outside,the hostel is very expensive.And the food sucks.I and my friends suffered food poisoning and stomach infection many times in one year.
Faculty :
As I mentioned previously in pros, The faculty is very supportive and interactive. They try to not pressure students for homeworks and assignments and if anyone seeks for help,they generally provide.Also the classes are very interactive.

Placement Experience :
The placement of the college is very good almost 70 percentage of students are well placed in this college with average package of 500000 more than 200 companies are visiting in this college the highest package of btech cse is 1.5 crores

College provide campus placements but it also depends on the scene of recession. Average package is 4 lakh per annum. I want campus placements but if not then I'll try off campus . And the college do not claim any certain amount of percentage that how many percent of students got placement .
