From the Experience of me, seniors and friends
Likes
- As a law student I've noticed the teaching staff is almost good for law subjects
- Campus of college is pretty and we have places to eat near by
- The libraries are good and have all kind of books also there is a seprate library for law students
Dislikes
- The management, support and indulgement of the faculty in issues faced by students isn't good except for the HOD of law shoo
- Dance club and fashion club has a very toxic invitoment and no supervision by the teachers
- The behaviour of students here is not good a person from a good peacefull and disciplined family background would suffer I don't like the crowd
- The sports is not supported at all by the college there is no specific training except for basketball for others you can just borrow the equipments and play by yourself, but no support is available for girls in sports
Remarks :
The procedure for admission is very simple, there is no cut off criteria, the 10th and 12th class marksheet's average percentage is enough to take admission though the enterence exams rank/marks are prefered
Course Curriculum Overview :
As law is a wast field the curriculum is nicely made where as I think it would be difficult for us to compete in out side world with as the exam pattern is very simple ofcourse it helps us to pass with better marks but looking further in future it could be a problem with post graduation degree from another university like DU
Internships Opportunities :
The internship are fine but the management for the same is not good recently the students got the internship details very late and as the criteria says 1 month we could do it for 1 complete month also it's difficult to get Leave of absence from the University even after valid reason like internship
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure works semester wise it increases each sem or year (depends on the University), scholarships are available for 80%+ students and need to mentain there grades each year for the same, students with leap year are not eligible for scholarship, in law school the employement opportunities have not been well according to my senior
Campus Life :
There are many clubs but the non academic or beneficial clubs do not do very well some of the very common clubs like dance and fashion club is not good it has a toxic environment and student dominence there is not enough faculty influence hence the students are biased on many bases though coming to the infrastructure, it is under development and getting better old one is not so good but new one is.
Faculty :
As far as law school is conserned we have permanent faculty members around 8, except for that we get visiting faculty mostly persuing PHD, sometimes the faculty is good sometimes not but mostly it's good also the permanent faculty is very qualified.
