Likes
- Since LU is oldest yet best college of Lucknow. The infrastructure is quite well maintained, buildings are renovated everytime if there is any fault, the canteens are affordable and clean, some might not be much spacious but quite good.
- The professors here are supportive and quite friendly. Events takes place every month or two but you've to acknowledge by yourself to take part in it. Department are quite far, you've to walk alot since it's the largest campus.
- The parks are maintained every time, library is quite good for studying quietly and peacefully. Recently movie actor n actress came to promote, so yeah sometimes celebs also visit. All fun n good campus.
Dislikes
- In cyber library, mostly wifi doesn't work properly, maybe they've maintained now but previously it was working very poorly.
- The canteens should be more spacious since there are alottt of students. Also there is no vehicle to take you from the gate to the department, you have to walk even if you're unwell which is something I dislike.
Remarks :
Eligibility is 12th pass with 45% marks (and 40% category) Application form can easily be accessed from main website of LU. All the details regarding the form, fees, dates everything is given in their prospectus and on their main page. Every entrance exam of LU is of 90 minutes and objective type. No subjective only objective. 100 ques are given 2 marks for each correct and no negative marking.
Course Curriculum Overview :
If I talk about commerce, what we get in curriculum is all theory, like there's no practical for it so yeah it might be quite boring but if I talk about science, arts or other practical subjects, there's proper labs for that and some other stuffs required for the curriculum. And if I say about off subject curriculum then ofcourse there are alot of programs conducted in the college, mostly the welfare programs.
Internships Opportunities :
Check on the official web page of LU. All the information are transparent and easily available. Companies from greater Noida, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune etc have came and hired alot of students here with affordable packages depending upon the credentials of students worth. And stipend info can be accessed through web page.
Placement Experience :
After 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. You may visit the official website for more details regarding placements and offers . Almost every year , students are selected on campus placements from every course. Rest details can be accessed from main page.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees in respective of every course is very lenient like very basic. For example B.Com. fees per semester is around 3700 or less But at the time addmission ofcourse they'll take around 2000 more. But the fee structure is very basic for every course. They're also scholarship programs every year depending upon the govt policies. Very simple way to register under it but ofcourse not everyone will get scholarship so it's upto the luck sometimes. Campus placement may take place every year and average package is around 6LPA.
Campus Life :
There are variety of events happens in LU. You'll get to know about them via posters or the team may approach to you itself. It's easy to take part since seniors are very supportive and friendly. Books can be easily accessed from library, but you've to make your pass which will be issued by the librarian. There are alot of social groups, clubs where events takes place, students can enhance their multi-tasking behaviour with studies and taking parts in activities.
Faculty :
Almost all the faculty members are Doctorate. They've done PhD from their respective courses. They're always available whenever you needed, sometimes they might ignore your phone calls bcz at a time alot of students approach them but you can discuss your problems with them in their free time, and if they allow or ask you to come to their cabin. Nobody is rude to students sometimes they might get irritated by behaviour of some mischievous students but never intentionally. Submit your assignment on time to make your internal marks strong.

Placement Experience :
They gives placement offortunties from 7th to 8th semester and make you ready for all exams and interviews. There are many companies like TCS, Cognizant, Paytm etc. But there is much placement offers for Btech and Bca students. Average package is 4 lpa and highest package is 24 lpa as they mentioned on there billboards. Just 50% to 60% student gets placed every year. My plan after graduation is to prepare for CAT exam and took admission in best B school.

Teaching methods is okay not very nice they don't use projector to teach use they only use old methods for teaching Level of exam is average it's not very hard , one can easily pass if they study for 1 hour daily

They are many fest which are organised by University of Lucknow that are sanskriti surabhi, literature fest, sports fest, cultural fest, gravitas and many more. There are many sports which are supported by University of Lucknow that are volleyball, basketball, badminton, cricket, chess etc. And there are also many other extra ko curricular activities which are NCC, NSS, painting, pottery etc. There are many social groups and clubs or website for the students run by themselves.
College for a reason

I wanted to be a company secretary and I'm working on it also. Just to get the base of CS I choose BCom. Most of the chapters and topics are the same as CS, the difference is only that B.Com has only the upper knowledge of topics and CS modules are deeper.

my plans after completion of this degree is i am gonna opt for law in my oost graduation, since i want to explore the line of corporate law this course will help me there also and our college also provide placement last year that max placement offers was of rupees 1500000 per annum

Course Curriculum Overview :
I would rate the course curriculum good as the teaching level in the collage is perfect as the faculty teaches exactly what a student needs to learn about the course also they make student do internships which is compulsory for all the courses which helps a student to improve his experience in its course The timings of the exams are perfectly managed and also the difficulty level is normal and exam level is good so there is a proper leaning I would suggest more groundwork is needed and faculty should make students do groundwork more than theoretical

Placement Experience :
I am still in 2nd year ,and I have no idea about the placement thing in my college.From semester 5 ,students become eligible for campus placement.I have yet not visited any companies and also there is no no. Of offers made till date.I have no knowledge about the highest and average package as per company and profiles offered .85% of students are getting placement in our college .My plans after getting the degree is to complete my Chartered accountants course.
