Review of a 2nd year jecrc hostel student
Likes
- Hostels are way better as one gets their personal space...it's similar to flat , a flat contains 3 or 4 rooms a common washroom and a common area
- College life is what makes 4 years bachelor course more easy and fun , college organises too many events that won't get you bored , main fest is rhythm which every student waits for ...they say it's biggest fest in rajasthan
- Their is high strictness to those who disturbs the decorum of college, fightings and drugs are too low as compared to other colleges
Dislikes
- Hostel mess food is what you will regret the most , the same food every week and the quality is just worse
- The college gate gets closed at 8 pm and they strictly follow this . And there are too many light cutoffs
- Badminton and table tennis has no scope and gym is there just to say , every thing is broken , they don't even maintain that. Classrooms has ac duct but just to show parents that they have it for students, not even a single day they started ac
Remarks :
First thier will be admission rounds which will continue for 3 to 4 months as 12th exam overs , students have filled a form and and pay a security fees of around 40k for seat booking, then few days later had to pay the full 1st sem fee along with hostel fee if needed
Course Curriculum Overview :
I would say course curriculum has minimum subjects that will affect our btech . In my first year there was subjects like environmental science...which has no relevance and also there was Indian constitution we also got autocad workshop.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure is 16 lacs for 4 years including hostel and scholarship is available which is 25% above 85% in 12th according to my case which comes around 27k off for 1 year and to maintain this scholarship you have to maintain more than 8 cgpa in each semester and more than 75% attendance in each subject too, if student have exact 75% , their scholarship will be removed
Campus Life :
Campus life is what I liked the most about jecrc university, they gives a fully loaded campus life ..events occurs every next week and also big events are there which is the most awaited like rhythm an freshers , dandia nights and many more , club involvement is also focused in this college, there are many clubs for students, one can just choose and give interview to get in that particular club, infrastructure is also quite good I won't say best but it is what just needed .
Faculty :
Some are phd holders and some has just started their Carrer in teaching I just completed my 1st year and I got 2 to 3 teachers who were new to teaching and were here just to gain experience for getting a better college...but the teachers who are here for a long time are excellent,

The placements of our college is good as compared to other new iiits . The average package of this year for cse branch is 12.71 lpa and median is 12.21 lpa . BIT Mesra . Jaipur Review (All aspects explained)
Placement Experience :
Placements are descent in BIT Mesra , Jaipur . But in 2024 Due to Recession they were not good as previous year. around 100 companies come to the college. average package of 2023 was 10LPA. Highest being 51LPA from microsoft . Students become eligible for placement from 7th semester. around 60-70% students get placed.

There are many good and bad about the course curriculum in this college. About this topic I would like to share my experience is that in this college old technology is used for teaching methods and this is not sufficient for student to go ahead in his/her life so this is the bad point about the college but the good point about the college is this there are separate block according to branch and there are seperate rooms for department wise branch

placements in my college are decent, you can atleast expect to get a job after this as the lowest package is 3.5 lacs and the highest one is 52 lacs. the internship opportunities are also great as compared to jobs even
