Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the course in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning due to my personal interest, and I believe it will be a leading field in the future. 1.Specific Aspects of the Curriculum Influencing Choice: Detailed coverage of machine learning algorithms, AI principles, and practical applications. Learning from leading experts and professionals in AI and ML. 2.Curriculum Preparation for Real-World Applications and Further Academic Pursuits: Courses often include case studies, internships, or project-based learning that simulate industry problems. 3.Areas for Improvement in Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods: Integrate more content from related fields such as ethics, policy, or social implications of AI. 4. Frequency and Timing of Exams, and Difficulty Level: Regular assessments (e.g., quizzes, midterms, and final exams) can help in continuous learning but should be balanced to avoid overwhelming students.
Internships Opportunities :
In the 3rd year, students have short-term internships, while in the 4th year, they participate in long-term internships. Many companies across India offer these internships, including TCS, Mahindra Tech, and others, providing various benefits.
Placement Experience :
From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements This year, there were over 600 placements, with an average package of 5 lakhs and the highest package being 52 lakhs from Amazon. Many companies, such as TCS, Amazon, Mahindra Tech, and GMRIT, visited the campus. Approximately 95% of students were placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a job with good package
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees will not be increased throughout the four years, it will be fixed as the fee you paid in first year. The complete cost of education, including tution, service fees, and other compulsory charges is 86,100 INR Scholarship is given to students who are eligible by the government
Campus Life :
The only major festival conducted at this college is Step Cone, held in February. It features various events, and students from other colleges are also invited to participate. This festival lasts for about four to five days. In addition to Step Cone, smaller programs like Annual Day and Freshers' Day are also organized. The college library houses 70,000 books and subscribes to 92 national journals, 10 international journals, and 572 online journals. Classrooms are equipped with benches that can accommodate 70 students, along with the necessary lights, fans, and a projector for digital classes. Air conditioning is provided only in the computer labs. The college offers a range of sports and extracurricular activities, allowing every student to participate according to their interests. Numerous tournaments are organized, and students who excel may have the opportunity to compete at the state and national levels. There are no official social media groups run solely by the students
Hostel Facilities :
1. The food quality is good, but the taste isn't great, and the menu remains the same every week, which can become boring at times. 2. The hostel registration process is handled directly at the administration office. There are two types of rooms available: three-bed rooms and six-bed rooms, which you can choose based on your budget.
Faculty :
1. The faculty to student ratio is 1:20 and it is a good ratio to interact with teachers 2. The faculty at this college hold qualifications such as Ph.D., M.E., M.Tech, and M.Sc. Different teachers have varying teaching methods, some use blackboards while others use PowerPoint presentations. 3. We can interact to teachers at any time in there leisure times and they are friendly enough.
