- Infrastructure, It's hostel facility and rooms are well maintained. Bathrooms are well built too and they clean it everyday
- Academics, Professors are very experienced and do have a vast knowledge about their respective topics.
- Extra activities, it gives many opportunities for the extra curricular activities like singing, dancing, sports, writing, paintings etc.
Dislikes
- Its location, it is located in the outskirts of deoghar city which is quite far from the market
- Gender ratio, It is 3:1 boys to girls, which is present in almost all the other AIIMS
- Mess food, quality is good but the problem is variety. Weekly menu doesn't change according to the month or season and you have to eat with the same weekly menu for whole year.
Remarks :
Anyone who passed 12th with physics, chemistry, biology and english with 60+% can apply for the course. And for the admission in this college, if you have give neet exam and secure around 5000 air rank for the eligibility. Seats are reserved for the EWS, SC, ST, OBC and also for PwD students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mbbs, itself is self explanatory and its vast use and application, which is quite beneficial for the society and also for the person to be financially independent and good. Mbbs is the stepping stone for the medical science journey, one have many different paths according to their interests.
Internships Opportunities :
It provides internships opportunities to its students for 1 year. Roles can be different to different days as one can be assisting in ophthalmology department or in emergency cases. There are various opportunities which is quite helpful for the future learnings.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
5800 INR for full course (for 5.5 years) Including education, hostel, security money. It doesn't include gym, mess, books, uniform. Scholarship are available for the obc, school, st and ews students. These students can apply for the scholarship and only valid if they don't have any previous scholarships.
Campus Life :
There are many programs which are held in the college. Annual and the most celebrated one is the "helix" is celebrated in September, it takes around 4-5 days for the celebration which includes quiz competitions, dance competitions, singing competition etc and also award ceremony. There are other functions too which takes place in different festivals like Holi, Independence day, christmas etc.
Hostel Facilities :
For the 1st year, one has to share his/her room with a roommate. There are 2 beds, 2 study tables, 2 chairs and 2 godrejs. Every room has 1 balcony and 1 fan with 2 light bulbs. One can apply for the A.C which is chargeable. Every floor has water cooler, which is needed during winter and Water filter.
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio 1:15 in almost every subject. Faculties are well experienced and knowledgeable in their field. They provide good mentorship in response to the queries about research, study habits and also hobbies. They are also quite approachable as every student has their phone numbers and also can meet them any day in their respective departments.
