Eligibility depends on the course we are applying. In my case, that is Ba political science honours, eligibility criteria is 10+2 only after that we need to take a form from the college and there is separate entrance test to get selected here. After you clear the entrance test you can admit here. Yeah there is reservation too.
I am upsc aspirants so I would like to have a knowledge about political structure of the state as well as administration . So obviously I decided to pursue political science honours when I finished my 12 on 2023
Being a government college the fees are not high at all. You can study here with a fee of around 5-6k if you want to pursue in arts stream and around 9-11k if science. There is no such placement and all in our college as per my knowledge but there is a good amount of scholarship provided.
There are many events that I have participated while studying in this college such as fresher's meet , farwell party and so on . The library facilities need to be improved as there is no enough books for the ug as well as pg. Most of the books are of old edition and there is lack of new one. There are many clubs here including Environmental clubs , personality development club and so on..
The classes are not much regular but the teacher are good overall . They teach very well when it comes to doubt and all. It will be better if the classes are taken regularly. If I have doubt in my course then I rely on internet sources mostly.
I'd rate the course curriculum as follows: Relevance: 8/10 Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Strengths: - The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, providing a solid foundation in the subject. - Specific aspects like project-based learning, case studies, and industry-relevant tools helped me choose this course. - The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications, with a focus on practical skills and problem-solving. Weaknesses: - Some topics felt a bit outdated, and more emphasis on emerging trends and technologies would be beneficial. - While the curriculum is comprehensive, some areas felt rushed or glossed over, leaving room for more in-depth exploration. Suggestions for improvement: - Incorporate more contemporary topics and industry developments. - Provide more opportunities for hands-on experience and project-based learning. - Consider inviting industry experts for guest lectures or workshops. Exam frequency and timing: 7/10 Exam difficulty level: 8/10 - Exams

I choose Art's stream from higher secondary so I like all about the Art's subjects. I choose Sociology because it teaches us the aspects of social life and I want to have a meaningful life. The exam frequency was in mess because of the crisis in Manipur and hinder our studies.
