I took the NEET exams. Where I scored 611 on my second attempt. The selection process is very tough as only 25000 students get admission out of 2400000 students per year. You should be 12th passed and have a minimum age of 17 years to take this exam. The admission process was a bit lengthy as you have to go through a process of counselling held by MCI.
There are vast reasons for this course. I want to serve people. In medical college, I am being able to interact with patients through my ward duties as They open up to me and tell me their problems.
There is not any batch that has gone to that level of internship as the first batch came here in the 2020 batch so probably in 2025 there will be the internship batch and the stipend depends on the state. I think the stipend would be in Bihar is 18000rs.
Yes, there should be scholarships on a regular basis so that poor students like me can afford sufficient study materials, as my father is very poor. the course fee is 40000 per year which is too costly for us. My father rented his land for the fees.
My overall experience is very nice. The campus is very good and seniors here are of a very friendly nature. Here, on a regular basis, there are sports activities and all. there are many festivals celebrated here like Saraswati puja, Holi, Diwali, Eid, Christmas etc. The 3-floored library is world-class here, every book a medical student needs, is available here. In the classroom, there are CCTV cameras, a projector and a screen and also specimens to teach students in a practical Way.
Hostel is also very good . But one thing bad is the washroom here as there is common washroom for all so there is very dirty washroom otherwise hostel is 1 number. Inside the room we are being provided with a table,a chair , a bed , a mattress, a almirah. And a balcony. There is a mess running which charged monthly 4300
Yes , they are very experienced and filled with immense clinical knowledge. They interact to students in very friendly manner. Ratio is very good in first year as there are 100 mbbs students and there are 14 professors for them
MBBS is a prestigious degree and being a doctor is a great job. It took a lot of hard work to crack NEET and get into a government medical college. I am grateful that I got a seat in a government medical college. This college has everything regarding education. If we talk about exams then as I am a first-year MBBS student, there are 3 semesters in the first year. They'll ask such questions which will help you in final university exams. They take the practical exams very seriously like you should know everything in detail as we are future doctors we must know everything very precisely. Teachers help a lot.
