- Saveetha has a very big campus and a very diverse courses to select on. We can literally find any course we wanna join.
- The best thing is that we get to select our faculties and the subjects we want to study(PS: Some subjects are mandatory and you have to take them definitely but you can get to choose your faculty)
- They will train you for placements from the beginning itself.
Dislikes
- Always something construction going everywhere.
- I don't like the food app system in the saveetha (PS: it's an app to order food )
- We have to change classes every now and then and we can't able to get some true and permanent friends which is the best part and the most important part of college
Remarks :
There is no eligibility for the course and the application process is so simple. You just have to fill up everything and pay 10k after that your admission is finished. And the exams are conducted everyday which I don't like but they are not hard atleast some of them are not hard and I don't think they need improvements in admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is a new one, I think they changed it. And it's a very good one unlike every other college which uses books, this college gives everyone a printout of the books known to everyone as CONCEPT maps. And they conduct exams everyday which I don't like in someways and they should lower the no.of exams they are conducting.
Internships Opportunities :
ORACLE, INFOSYS, TCS, ZOHO, TECH MAHINDRA etc are some of the companies that are recruiting. And almost everyone gets internship and the stipend depends on your skills and the company you are interning for. There will be two main projects in final year and bunch of projects in previous years which we have to do.
Placement Experience :
After the second year itself they provide internships and go to foreign oppertunities to everyone and not only them, they will give like 8 different options for you to choose for you (you will be trained and teached based on your choice). I think almost everyone is getting placed I don't know anything about this tbh. my plan is to go to MS.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
They don't increase the fees every year and to my knowledge they give some scholarship but I don't know them and the total fee comes to 300000 including the hostel and some other fees. I haven't taken any roles in college until now so I really don't know about stipends.
Campus Life :
The campus is big and beautiful except the constructions which are going on 24/7 all year long and there are so many tests they will conduct but the biggest one is SIMAM every year in June. There are so many extra curricular activities for every to participate and they can also get some scholarships I think. There are clubs and tbh I don't think they are active much I mean ACTIVE..
Hostel Facilities :
The facilities that are being provided are okay I'm not gonna say they are the best but If you are rich then you have the best facilities here. You can eat whatever you want, there is no menu. Registration for hostel os simple, go to admissions office and fill a hostel registration forms.
Faculty :
There are so many faculties in saveetha school of engineering, and they are also well qualified. Tbh not everyone of them is good at teaching( I mean they are okay but not upto the par) , but some professors are top notch they teaches you how to think and how to learn.

Based on course curriculum it will be ok that's all I won't say it's good they only teach important topics so it's in your hands to cover and study all topics so it will be usefull to improve your knowlegde
PROS AND CONS
Placement Experience :
8th semester students are only eligible to attend the campus interviews based upon the criteria provided by the company. Wipro, Infosys, Zoho, chettinad cement, etc... are visit this college. Highest salary package is 9LPA lowest package is 1lpa and average 3 - 4 LPA. Percentage of the students selected for the placement is 50% in that students got selected by the company are 35%. Only 10% from the whole strength are getting placed with good job and package. My plan aftery graduation is do some specialisation courses try to get placed in top companies with higher salary package.

Placement Experience :
From 7th semester students get eligibility to enter into placements.. Capegemini, l&T, infosys, TCS, BOSCH, cognizant etc.. As of now by the latest placements mechanical got a highest package of 12lpa and has 100% placement in school of mechanical and construction
About my college
Placement Experience :
In 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements for engineering. 3032 offers made this year this is huge number of students placed in a year in our college total 512 companies Highest package is 54 LPA and average package is 6 LPA 94.5 percentage of placements .
