IIM Lucknow invites candidates for WAT and PI rounds based on their composite score. Last year, the composite score was calculated by giving 60% weightage to CAT score, and 10% weightage each to class 12th percentile, graduation percentile and work experience. For final selections, WAT and PI held 10% and 40% weightage respectively. 12 out of 40 was the minimum score required to clear the PI round.

A two-stage selection process is followed by the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow for admissions to the PGP, PGP SM and PGP ABM batch. Stage 1 involves shortlisting for the Personal Interview (PI) and the Written Ability Test (WAT) through CAT exam. The candidates who match the cutoff criteria in the written CAT exam are made eligible to apply for admission in the PGP, PGP SM and PGP ABM batch.

Tabulated below is the minimum marks required to be eligible for admission in IIM Lucknow:

However, all of this is the minimum criteria to apply; you will only be receiving calls from IIM Lucknow if your CAT percentile is at least at 98.2 percentile. The higher your score goes beyond this percentile the higher are your chances of converting IIM Lucknow. After PI and WAT takes place which is based on various criteria like the scaled CAT score, the Class 12 and Graduation marks, diversity factors based on gender and fields and the work experience of the candidates, the final score will be calculated taking PI and WAT into consideration on the basis of which admission will be given to candidates.
