How are the placements at Christ University for MBA?
Posted On - Aug 14, 2020I am an MBA student at Christ University. I decided to pursue my management degree from Christ on the suggestion of my teachers, as this university is known nationally for its management and other courses.
Christ University has a strong industry reputation. This is the reason why well-known brands from across various sectors participate in the placement process of Christ each year.
Here’s a list of such brands- Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Ernst & Young, Morgan Stanley, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), Procter & Gamble (P&G), McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Aditya Birla Group, among others.
The highest packages during Christ placements reach up to 21-22 LPA, and a good number of student secure packages worth 7 LPA and above. As evident from the list of recruiters above, graduates from Christ get the opportunity to work in various sectors like finance, marketing, consulting, technology, etc. This provides them the opportunity to work in a field that particularly interests them. Christ has a strong alumni network as well, which offers support and guidance to students.
Overall, Christ offers good MBA placements.
Christ University placements for MBA are good. During the 2022 placement drive, students received the highest CTC of INR 17.50 LPA. During this placement drive, a total of 530 students were placed.
The majority of the recruiting companies are from the Marketing sector, followed by Finance and HR & Operations. KPMG, DE Shaw, Wells Fargo, and ICICI Bank are some of the major recruiters that visit the campus drive frequently.
The placement record for Christ University MBA is good. Companies like Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Godrej, etc. recruit students through campus placement. According to Christ University MBA placements for 2022, the average CTC offered to students is INR 5-6 LPA. While the highest CTC offered this year was INR 18 LPA.
Christ University Bangalore is known to have a robust Placement Office/ Cell for MBA graduates which was established in 1997. The Placement Office at Christ University helps students in career planning through regular counseling sessions and seminars. It has been functioning effectively for more than 20 years. In the past few years, hundreds of students have been placed in reputed companies through Christ University placements. The placement cell at Christ University Bangalore rigorously helps students in getting internships, live projects as well as summer and winter placements.
Whether it is helping students get jobs in corporations or grooming them to be corporate-ready, Christ University’s placement initiatives have been growing year on year. Regular training programs are also scheduled to improve basic business acumen and improve the employability skills of students. Moreover, with each passing year, they are striving hard to break their own record.
Below is the highest and lowest package over the last three years in brief. As you can see, in 2019 the highest package was 13.12LPA and the lowest was 6LPA. The total number of recruiters that visited the campus was 142. The list of esteemed companies includes Amazon, KPMG, TCS, Deloitte, Cerner, etc.
