Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE) is the 5th oldest engineering college in India. It is ranked 201 for BTech by NIRF 2020. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. 

The BTech is a 4 year and MTech is a 2 year course. The BTech student intake is 240 and the 

MTech student intake is 18 students.

  • Candidates should have 50% in their 10+2 qualifying exam.
  • Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is compulsory.
  • Candidates opting for MTech should have 55% in their BTech or BE exam.
  • Final selection will be based on the entrance exam.

  • Out of 208 students 148 got placed from the BTech program.
  • Out of 74 students 38 got placed from the MTech program.
  • The top recruiters are Bosch, Infosys, Capgemini, KPMG, JP Morgan, Unilever, L&T, Reliance, HP, Godrej, Wipro, etc.

Facilities - 

  • The SPCE college has all the necessary facilities for the students like a Central Library with a collection of over 45,000 books, 9000 e-books, and national and international journals.

  • They have a reputation of producing high quality engineers and also helps them to achieve their desirable employment.
  • They offer scholarships to eligible candidates like Tata Trust Scholarship, Ratan Tata Scholarship and Pragati Scholarship.

The admissions are based on the entrance exam and the obtained scores by the student in various academic levels. This will be followed by a counselling. It also runs a QIP programme for enhancing the teaching expertise of the faculty members of engineering colleges like NITs and NITTTR. SPCE is considered a well reputed college for engineering.
