I have done my MBA from LPU. LPU is one of the top private universities in India. The placements in LPU are what make it stand out from the rest of the universities.

  • MBA students are offered an average package of INR 4–6 LPA in more than 100 companies.
  • More than 550 students got placed in a single day by Cognizant, not once but twice, which makes it around 1000 students.
  • In 2019, 3 engineering students were offered INR 28 LPA from Amazon.
  • A BBA student from LPU was placed at the Royal Bank of Scotland.

All the aforementioned institutes have their unique strengths and weaknesses that make the institute what it is today. Placements alone cannot be considered as the evaluating factor as they differ from stream to stream, year to year, and even campus to campus. One of my friends completed her MBA from Amity University, Noida Campus, and she was all praise for the excellent exposure and Amity tag. Consider the following

  • The MBA program at Manipal University has a placement rate of around 90%.
  • The MBA program at SRM University has a placement rate of around 85%.
  • The MBA program at KlIT University has a placement rate of around 80%.
  • The MBA program at LPU has a placement rate of around 75%.
  • The MBA program at Amity University has a placement rate of around 70%.

Personally, I feel the preference order for the aforementioned institutes should be the following

Manipal University>SRM>KIIT>LPU>Amity

However, these are just general figures and should be taken with a grain of salt. It’s better to conduct thorough research before choosing one of these colleges.

LPU is the best among these for an MBA in terms of placements as well as other aspects. LPU’s Mittal School of Business is among the leading business schools in India.

LPU MBA placements are outstanding. Alumni of this B-School work in top MNCs across the world like Yahoo, Google, Amazon, Facebook, etc. As per the placement highlights, students receive salary packages in the range of INR 4 to INR 11 LPA.

LPU has a start-up incubation center that helps students get the required resources and support for their own start-ups.
