As one of my friends studied at Kalasalingam University, here are some of the facts about the university. Also as I am not familiar with Bharat University in Chennai so won't be able to tell about that.

Here are some of the pros and cons of Kalasalingam University:

Pros: 

• Kalasalingam University has a very welcoming atmosphere, the people here are great and accepting.
• The campus is 450 acres and has huge buildings and a lot to explore.
• They have lesser fees when compared to other universities.
• It is a research oriented university.
• They also provide education to the rural people.

Cons:

• The location is a major disadvantage. It is in a remote area which has no scope for industrial exposure.
• Their education standards are average, not up to the mark.
• The administration demands extra money for several things which sometimes does not go well for the students.
• Sports and extracurricular activities are also average.

Therefore it is suggested that you do not go for Kalasalingam University and check for other better options.
