Is Kakatiya University good for EEE?

Kakatiya University isn’t a great option for EEE. The faculty-student ratio isn’t satisfactory. The departmental labs are average. You won’t receive decent placement and industry exposure. Although KU has taken some initiatives to make the placements better, there haven’t been any remarkable changes. Only mass recruiters such as TCS visit Kakatiya University placements to recruit EEE students.
Some of my friends went to Kakatiya University. According to their experience, it is not a good option for pursuing a degree in EEE.
- Although it is a university, there are no permanent faculty. Most of the faculties are contractual employees.
- The infrastructure of the university is also not that good. They don’t have any proper labs. According to my friends, they used to conduct lab experiments in some private colleges at the end of the semester.
- The placement record of the institute is not that good. According to the recent highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 3 LPA.
The only advantage of Kakatiya University is the fee. Since it is a Govt. university, the fees are quite affordable. Considering all these factors, it will be better to consider other options for your degree.
