The placements at Delhi University have a dark side that nobody tells you about. This is because you can experience it only if you yourself are in one of the mediocre colleges of DU.

For the best colleges in North and South Campus or Off Campus (SRCC, KMC, Miranda, Hindu, Venky, SBSC, Gargi, LSR, SSCBS, KVM), placements are not a big deal. This is because they will get you into big MNCs with high packages. Your performance in the interview is also significant.

But here is the dark side. If your college is mediocre and not among the top colleges of DU you will get placements in MNCs but for trivial positions like Customer Service Executives, Process Associates, or Airlines with Cabin Crew. The packages here are as low as 1.5-3.5 LPA.

So it all really depends on which college you are in.

Placements at Delhi University will vary from college to college and nobody will have an actual idea while applying for colleges with high cut-offs.

• In the past, students have received decent to amazing salary packages depending on their college rankings. The top profiles that have been offered include Analyst, Associate, Audit Associate, and many more.
• The colleges situated in North and South campuses are best known for placements. The highest salary package in the recent placement drive was offered in Hindu College (29 LPA) and LSR College (39.5 LPA).
• However, if you are from an off-campus college, then the opportunities will be slightly different. The profiles that will be offered are Customer Service Executive, Process Associate, or Cabin Crew. 

You must study well and score a good score in exams. It will help you in applying for in-office internships and gaining work experience.
