My elder brother was accepted to both colleges in Eco(Hons) this year, and he eventually chose Scottish Church. Here's why.
Even if the faculties of both departments are almost equal, classes in Ashutosh are irregular, and the union has too much ownership. Inside the premises, the atmosphere for a first-year student isn't great.
Unlike Ashutosh, the admissions process at Scottish Church is uncomplicated and administered by the department.
However, both are under CU, and if you're familiar with the marking scheme, they're identical. You must rely on tuition regarding your studies in Ashutosh as teachers will be of little help.
So, choosing Scottish Church College will be better.
