Which is better for CSE LPU or Chandigarh University?

Chandigarh University is around 17 kms away from Chandigarh and there are less transportation facilities to commute from Chandigarh to the university. LPU, on the other hand is 19 kms away from Jalandhar, but the campus is established on the main route.
As far as the placement department is concerned, more than 500+ recruiters visit the campus for placements every year. BTech CSE placements at LPU recorded INR 42 lakhs as the highest salary package. Additionally, LPU had 110+ recruiters from top colleges like IITs, IIMs, and NITs. The highest monthly stipend for any kind of internship at LPU is around 80k.
So in my opinion, LPU is better for CSE than Chandigarh University.

Additionally, 431 students were offered packages between INR 10 LPA and INR 62.72 LPA during LPU placements in 2021 and 2022.

My cousin graduated from Chandigarh University and he considers the university to be a fraud institution. Based on his experiences, I can say that it is not at all good. Here are some things worth mentioning.
- The university's weakest feature is its grading system.
- Although they have a relative marking scheme, it is inferior to the absolute marking system.
- According to the scheme, the passing marks would be 50 percent of the topper's score.
- For example, if the top student receives 90 marks, the student who receives 45 marks will pass the exam; otherwise, the exam will be considered a failure.
- They never disclose the passing mark and make students reappear for the examinations.
- The teachers of the university have no prior experience. My cousin claims that the university has the worst teaching staff.
- The teachers take on the role of an admission officer in other places, which hampers regular classes.
- The students are not permitted to leave the campus before noon, even from the academic block, regardless of the nature of their problem.
- To leave before noon, you have to submit an application with valid reasons, signed by the department's head, who is usually unavailable.
Lastly, if you do not pay the fee before the deadline, the fine will increase the amount by 5% of the entire fee every day starting the next day. So, if you're considering enrolling in this university, think twice. There are a lot of negative aspects to this university which you should consider before taking admission there.
