What is the dress code at Vels University?
Posted On - Sep 13, 2021Vels University does follow a strict dress code for students. In VISTAS it’s compulsory to wear a proper uniform if it is the program requirement. Students are advised to adhere to the respective department dress code. For academic & allied activities on campus, students must wear proper uniforms. For 1st year female students, no Chudidhar, salwar & leggings are allowed. Further, no boy should wear jeans on campus. For male students, shirts and pants are the formal dress code allowed on campus. T-shirts are not allowed. Stylish Clothes are prohibited at the campus.
There is no compulsory dress code for Vels Tech University. The girls of the institute are allowed to wear dresses of various kinds, including denim, t-shirts, and others, as per the choice of the students.
However, the only dresses that are not permitted by the institution, for both boys and girls, are shorts of any kind. This is however not an authorized statement. The dress code at the institute is Semi-formal or casuals.
