Overall, IIM Rohtak FPM is a great choice for those working professors who are looking for a decent program to upgrade their managerial skills and climb the corporate ladder.
IIM Rohtak’s FRM program is average at best. The number of faculties available is very few. So, the advisor keeps changing. Also, there is hardly any research work happening. You won’t get the proper guidance and training needed to continue the degree. The lack of a proper research interface makes it a poor choice for pursuing an FRM program.
IIM Rohtak started offering FRM program quite recently. It is a good course in terms of academics and learning opportunities. If you want to pursue research in management or entire academia then FRM is a good option. It is equivalent to a doctorate degree and you can join IIMs or other management institutes as teaching/research faculty. The pay and facilities for these posts are good.
However, you will need to put in the required effort and time. FRM program at IIM Rohtak also doesn’t have placements.
Ph.D. is a very tough course and comes with a lot of problems. The chances of completion of this course are less than 30% and require a lot of motivation and dedication. FPM, on the other hand, is completely worth your time and money.
IIMs put a lot of effort and thought into their courses. They have very good expertise and provide a lot of resources to their students to offer a great quality of education to their students.
If you are someone who loves to study and has a lot of interest in learning new things then you can definitely do it. You can easily go through the rigor but it will be impossible for an average student who is not very talented or brilliant at academics.
IIM Rohtak is a very good institute for an FPM program that provides a lot of facilities and resources to its students and as this course is very difficult so you must put in a lot of effort and hard work to successfully complete the course.
