Which is better for an MTech: IIT Delhi or IIT Madras?

As the institute is located near the industry region of Delhi NCR, its easier to get internships and job opportunities. IIT Delhi MTech placements are pretty good, especially for CS. During the last placement drive, students received as average CTC of INR 20 LPA.
It is a little difficult to draw a conclusive comparison between the two institutes as you have not mentioned your future goals or the stream that you are interested in. IIT Delhi and IIT Madras are both among the best engineering institutes in the country. Here is a brief overview of the two institutes.

I have a few friends from both IIT Delhi and IIT Madras and based on their experience, I will say both institutes have their fair share of advantages.
IIT Delhi will offer you better exposure. However, IIT Madras has a locational advantage that works in its favor. IIT Madras is located near a number of firms, particularly Mechanical Engineering firms such as Ashok Leyland Chennai, Hyundai, GE Bangalore, etc.
