Most students face challenges concerning internships like the shortage of awareness about
opportunities, no proper processes to use for internships, the shortage of trust etc. Such challenges lead Mayank Garg, a student at the varsity of Law, to return with a thought to ease out the method and help students find quality internships and top law firms find interns.

This idea has now became a startup called JRTC Intern. it's India’s first-ever internship governance platform for the legal sector. it'll function an interface between law students seeking quality internships and top law firms trying to find deserving interns. this may help thousands of law aspirants across the state by providing an organised channel to seek out internships.

The idea sprung up when Mayank was helping a lover to secure an internship in 2017. He was trying to assist when he realised the struggle to urge an appropriate internship.

The startup was a results of rigorous research, numerous brainstorming sessions, hours-long interactions with the scholars , top law firms and mentors at the UPES School of Law. The start-up is being patronized by nationally acclaimed law firms like Cyril Amar Chand Mangal Das, Shardul Amar Chand Mangal Das, L&L partners, Lakshmi Kumaran Sridharan and top lawyers namely advocate Kapil Sibbal, Salman Khurshid to call a couple of .

“We have a well-designed process to benchmark the talents and aptitude of the aspiring interns, comprising eligibility examination, the overall Law Internship Test, and an interview. This initiative will go an extended way in altering the way we mention law internships in India and help us in nurturing a far better breed of lawyers, strengthening the system of the state ,” said Mayank Garg, founder
JRTC Intern.

JRTC intern is additionally set to deliver user satisfaction even within the COVID-19 pandemic that's happening across the planet . Mayank informed that due to their proactive approach towards AI and machine learning, they need all the systems in situ to make sure internship opportunities continue via online mode.

Taking about the vision for the upcoming days, Mayank mentioned that they need high aspirations for automation, improved technology interventions, and collaborations with law of nations firms of repute within the future. JRTC is joined by Mr. Parikshit Chandgothia, (alumni, School of Law UPES) and a technology enthusiast, which can benefit them during this direction.

JRTC team has also received a letter of appreciation from the previous president of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee.
