As per schedule, the UP BEd Joint Entrance Examination 2020-22 will be conducted on Sunday, August 9 by Lucknow University.

Amid rising concerns over the non-availability of transport and non-permission for movement, Lucknow University has uploaded detailed guidelines on its website. UP B.Ed JEE appearing students can download the admit card from the website. Check UP B.Ed JEE Practice Papers

Previously, students were agitated on the decision of state regarding the conduct of the entrance examination in the month of August.

As per the officials of the university, the UP government has granted permission to all candidates for movement on August 8-9.

UP BEd Joint Entrance Examination Highlights 2020

Regarding the concerns of candidates on the commute, BEd coordinator Prof Amita Bajpai has said that the examination is scheduled on Sunday which is a restricted day for movement as per the UP government guidelines.

“However, the government has given permission to the candidates for movement on these two lockdown days, given that they carry admit cards with them,” she further said.

The entrance examination will be held in two shifts from 9 am-12noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm on August 9. 

Moreover, candidates will be required to reach the examination venue one hour before the scheduled time

The university will also ensure that all COVID-19 guidelines are followed which will include thermal scanning of candidates, staff, and sanitization of the examination centre.

More than 4.3 lakh candidates will be appearing for the examination at 1,089 centres across the state on August 9 for UP BEd Joint Entrance Examination 2020-22.
