New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU), Chennai has released the Application form for PhD programme 2022-23 July Session admission. Aspiring candidates can submit the filled application forms to the university along with a demand draft of INR 500.

TNOU,Chennai offer's PhD programmes across 14 different specialisations in full time & part time mode. Some of the top PhD streams at TNOU are; Education, Physics, Chemistry, Management, Botany, Psychology & English. 

Candidates seeking admission to any of these disciplines under the PhD programme can submit their applications till May 27, 2022 as per the instructions.

• Candidates must have studied under 10+2+3 pattern of education & hold a Master's Degree in the relevant subject from any recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Candidates must have qualified the Entrance examination organised by Tamil Nadu Open University.
• The Selection of candidates will be based on the Entrance test, PG programme scores & performance in the interview round

TNOU PhD Admission 2022: Application process

Step 1: Visit the official website of TNOU, at https://tnou.ac.in/.

Step 2: Search for the PhD Admission tab and click on it.

Step 3: Now, download the PhD application form for July, 2022 admission and take its printout. 

Step 4: Fill the application form carefully and send the filled application form along with a Demand Draft for INR 500 in favour of 'Tamil Nadu Open University' payable at Chennai.

TNOU PhD Admission 2022: List of Required Documents

Applicants must submit the self attested photocopies of following documents along with the filled-in application form:

• Birth Certificate or S.S.L.C. Certificate (As DOB Proof)
• SSLC & PUC, HSC, UG, PG and M.Phil. Marksheets 
• Proof for completion of UGC/CSIR - NET (Including JRF), SET, GATE,Teacher Fellowship holder or awarded with any other National Fellowship/Scholarship

All the aspiring candidates are advised to attach all mentioned documents along with their filled application form and submit it to "The Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Open University, No.577, Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai - 600 015.
